Dr. Wang and the team on staff yesterday gave me my cat back. They listened to me, they worked with my budget, and they gave me comprehensive advice for my cats behavioral issues that already within a day have helped improve her overall demeanor. I am typically cautious of chain practices like Banfield due to the corporate oversight but I can say with confidence this location has what’s best for you and your babies at heart.

I have been going to different Banfields for nine years and this Banfield was very organized and they made me feel like a person. I was very worried about my dog and the vet coming out and talking to me and let me know exactly what was happening was very special and I hope that others get to experience that she’s very thorough and personable And the facility was clean the person that took me back into the waiting room for taking down all the information was also very kind, and they just were very approachable and made me feel comfortable, and my dog feel comfortable, which was important to me the location was convenient. It was easy to find, and everyone who walked in seem to be pleased with the work that they were doing.

I took my first cat to this location on a Sunday, and Tram and Dr. Gomez gave me a wonderful first impression. Tram took a good 20 minutes telling me all about the plans I could do for my other senior cat. I was blown away by how awesome everyone was! I took my cat in today on a Monday for his first visit, and it went a little differently. The vet was fine. He's knowledgeable and knows more about his hyperthyroid condition than his previous vet. However, while the vet tech was very sweet and good to my cat, she just put my cats on two separate accounts. Its not a big deal, just a hassle because I had to create a whole new email address just to be able to create a new log in to see my other cat's information. But that is my ONLY "complaint" with this place. The plans are AMAZING. I wish I would have come to this place sooner!! The prices I've been paying are astronomically higher than banfield, for the same quality of care. As an example, a simple thyroid blood check at his old vet cost me $63 and here at banfield (with the 20% discount from special care) its only about $30! I have a 7 year old cat and a 13 year old cat, and both are special needs, so the unlimited office visits is a massive plus! I also love that the blood work is done in 30 minutes. I'm used to waiting 3 days. I'm very happy with my decision to switch!

A couple of years back I would’ve given banfield 5 stars and recommended them in a heartbeat but that’s definitely changed. My husband and I brought our Doberman to banfield MULTIPLE times for 2 years due to skin infections and a mass on his chest which was also due to a "skin infection". We were always sent home with a medicated shampoo, some kind of spray that was supposed to help (never did), and antibiotics. We were also advised to change his food and that actually seemed to make it worse. Unfortunately, we had to rehome him so we sent over all the medical records we had from banfield. 2 days later, we received a text from his new owner after taking him to a vet, that he actually had fevers CONSTANTLY, his red blood cell count was low and he had thyroid issues. Banfield NEVER made us aware of any of those issues, we were always told that "all his test came back normal" … but clearly that wasn’t the case, our pup was suffering. I truly believe banfield has become more about the money rather than the wellbeing of our pups.

It was hard to get our dog euthanized but they made the process less painful. A few weeks later we received a card and our dog’s paw print in it which melted our hearts. Thank you, Banfield Team.

have many concerns about the way things are happening at the location we take our pet . East Plano . Us as pet parents go over and beyond to ensure our pet " Bennie" is taken care of for the past 7.5 years at the same location. Every year we have everything done as you will see in our records at the hospitals . Today on April 4.2025 we have taken Bennie to have his dental cleaning and other monthly items done as we always have . Feb 2025 the comprehensive exam was done and as of today we got a call stating he needed an extraction and has roots showing and decay . Why was this not caught in Feb and if it was no one involved when picking him up was notified a tooth may need to be extracted in April when his teeth were cleaned due to it being 700 dollars . He was also there in March . Also - I can not locate any records online since Sept 2024 on my application for Banfield . I would like to know what can be done and apologizing and saying this will be a coaching tool for the doctor and staff will not be sufficient. I pay monthly for a service and apparently the comprehensive exam and its findings were not explained in detail and now a major expense was thrown at us with out any knowledge of a issue .

My sweet girl Lucy had surgery and she was treated very kindly and with compassion. I have always had good experiences with this Vet hospital and clinic.
