Dr. Cruz and his team are the best! The time, care, and dedication they have put into my pets lives are outstanding. They have worked miracles on my cat’s leg and saved his life. Without Dr. Cruz and his team, my cats quality of life would be nowhere near where it is today. From almost needing leg amputation, Dr. Cruz was able to save his leg to the point where you could not tell anything happened to my cat’s leg! I’m forever grateful of how caring and patient they were!! They worked with us financially while giving us the best quality care. I have never met a more compassionate vet clinic.
Dr. Cruz is always informative and I can tell he really cares. He takes the time to educate me on how to help Dora and what I need to watch for. They always have been able to see me without much of a wait and most of the time, that very day. Dr. Cruz is thorough and gentle. I’m glad I found him!
I love this office. Staff is so nice, Dr. Cruz listens and is very reasonable with a plan of care with no pressure on costly services and explains everything well. He has been managing my dog since he was a puppy with a seizure disorder. I also bring my other dog for routine care and vaccines and every visit has been great.
Dr. Enrique is a veterinarian like no other his kindness and dedication to his work are palpable. As soon as you enter his clinic with your furry friend, you'll feel the warmth and love that he and his team share with every pet that walks through their doors.
I’m very happy with the care and patience that Dr. Cruz and his staff had for my two cats, Meatball and Kaboose! Clear communication involving shots/medication’s and cost are very important to me so great job! Thanks Dr.Cruz and Staff!!!
I recently brought my 11-year-old pug in for a tumor removal, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome right from the start. Dr. Cruz provided outstanding care, taking the time to explain everything and ensuring my pup was comfortable throughout the procedure. I also appreciated the transparent pricing, which made the financial aspect much easier to navigate. Overall, I highly recommend Camelback Animal Clinic for anyone looking for compassionate and professional veterinary care!
***UPDATE***I took my pet in for hearing loss—not deaf, and after 2 treatments and over $600 later, my dog is now totally deaf!!! We expressed concerns about this along the way in between treatments, that he had no hearing, but they said it was bc of the compacted medication in both ears. After the second treatment we came back for the follow up he charges for, another cystology test, Dr Cruz said he needed a third treatment of the medication they put in the both rats, that both ears have about 25-30% left of the infection. I wasn’t buying it. He also said that we needed to try another medication after spending $200 on the first two with 500% mark up. However, Pippen wasn’t even finished with his current meds at the time. I declined. They cleaned his ears and said that his hearing should restore. It did not. He’s worse off then when we too him in for treatment. My buddy is no deaf in both ears. I should note hear, he had an infection both both ears, but one was not as bad as they other. ———————————————————————— I’ve taken my pet to Dr Cruz’s clinic a couple of years back. I currently live about an hour away, but since they’ve seen my pet before, and their pricing was allot less than the clinics out in Buckeye, I decided to take my pet back to have his right ear examined bc of specific symptoms, including diminished hearing. Treatment recommended was an inner ear cleaning (Aural cleaning) and Cytology test. The staff is friendly. Dr. Cruz is friendly as well. After their inner ear treatment, they handed me 1 medication, and advised that they send the 2nd medication to a compounding pharmacy and I should hear from them either phone call or email no later than the next day. The next day comes and goes and I don’t hear from the compounding pharmacy. I had planned to call them that day, but I received a phone call from the clinic. I advised that my pet Pippen went from slight loss of hearing to no hearing at all. She said that was normal and to bring him back in 2 weeks for follow up. She advised that he had a yeast infection. I asked if my pet should continue to take the meds for a bacterial infection? She advised the doc will call to let me now. Dr Cruz called after 7pm the next day to advise that Pippen has both a bacterial and yeast infection, confirming to take both meds. I advised that I still haven’t heard from the pharmacy for the meds to treat the yeast infection. He said I should call the compound pharmacy. I pushed back and asked him why I should be handing the facilitation of the script? I Called the pharmacy and they advised that the doctor uses an online portal that I have to sign into to fill in my info and pay for the script. That’s the only way they receive scripts from this clinic. Dr Cruz nor his staff advised about the script process and the portal. Emily was very helpful at the pharmacy and understood my frustration. The clinic also had my email address wrong. 4 days later and my pet is without necessary treatment. By the time he will get his medication, a week will have past.
