I’m on the monthly plan which is great Piece of mind. Covers all Shots yearly labs and teeth cleaning. I’d never be able to afford otherwise. The techs are great and vets wonderful too Thank you
My East Peoria Banfield group are truly awesome! They treat our family member Sassy ( she’s a mini schnauzer) with honest kindness and concern. She’s not treated like just a money pit of fur and bones… rushing her thru, trying to foist expensive products and services just so they can make more money. Their care for her includes giving us detailed and informative instructions, and suggestions for her health and wellbeing, dealing with her symptoms and diagnosis. Even checking her in, the staff treat her like a friend. Sassy lives up to her name and breed, and they take that into consideration, showing patience, and helping her feel at ease. All around, I’d never take her to anyone else.
We had a great experience at Banfield. Our Vet assistant was wonderful.
When I first took my dog there it Was gonna cost $280, then possibly $480. Blood work n MORE. Dog Was throwing up at night but acting normal during the day. Sorry but dog not THAT BAD! Just a $ grab! But everyone NICE there!
I am extremely disappointed with the care my cat received at Banfield Pet Hospital. We brought her in because she was underweight, eating excessively, and not gaining weight. I brought in a stool sample, yet it was never tested. Instead, they immediately chose a very invasive route and proceeded with blood work first. During the visit, the doctor attempted a jugular vein blood draw and openly stated that he had not done many of these and did not seem confident, which made me uncomfortable. He also performed a blood draw from my cat’s back leg, which has since developed into a painful infected abscess, causing her to limp and requiring us to seek care from a different vet who is now treating her appropriately. The doctor also told me he would call with updates about what could be going on with my cat, but I never received any phone call or follow-up. When I later asked about the stool sample I had brought in, I was told, "I must have lost it," which I found incredibly unprofessional. Overall, this experience was upsetting and disappointing. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this vet hospital and would encourage others to carefully consider their options for pet care.
Disappointed with their limited hours. I always bring AJ here for his care. Today we have an emergency and it turns out they're closed Wednesday & Thursdays! That's nuts! Currently bouncing around, looking for a place that does walk-ins. Not worth the care plan with the limited hours.
Everyone that pays for Banfield pet plans, I would steer completely clear of this specific hospital. When I first moved to IL I scheduled an appt for the one closest to my area which happened to be this one, they proceeded to give my dog multiple unnecessary vaccines which she had already gotten and had proof of that. The people there and DR completely ignored the person who I had take my dog there for the appointment. After bringing this up and complaining to the corporate office nothing was done. Simply put this specific hospital does not care about the welfare of your animal(s). Nothing was done about their clearly reckless behavior. I now drive 2 whole hours completely out of my way to another Banfield so I don’t have to go to this one. Please do NOT bring your animals to this one, this one should honestly be shut down. I recently made a complaint to the State veterinarian medical Association. Hopefully they get investigated and their egos are checked.
