I’ve tried several vets in the area for my diabetic cat, and unfortunately many of them were charging hundreds more than necessary for his care. After speaking with a friend who is a vet tech and consulting with the vet she works for, I realized just how overpriced some of the clinics had been. I found this office because I work nearby, and I’m so glad I did. From the start, they’ve been amazing. I’m now paying less than half of what other vets were charging, without sacrificing the quality of care my cat receives. Managing a diabetic cat is already expensive between regular visits and monthly insulin costs, so finding a vet that is both compassionate and reasonably priced has been such a relief. The staff is wonderful, and Dr. Freeman is truly the best. I can’t recommend them enough for both their excellent care and fair pricing.
This is the second time we have been here. Both times were emergency related and we also did not have alot of money. Both times we were helped so much and the vet and the people up front worked with us on keeping the costs manageable. We really do appreciate that. We had 2 sick dogs and one was in very bad shape. I honestly feel that if he had not been seen and treated he could have died. I also appreciate that the office called us 2 days in a row after the appt to check on our dogs especially Trigger. Thank you again to this place and the wonderful people who saved our dogs. We will continue to take our dogs here from now on.
Our dog had her care here for all 14+ years of her life, and we were always happy with the service, but in experiencing her end of life with OP Vet Center, we will never go anywhere else for future pet care. Every staff member was so compassionate and caring. We felt like we were educated about our options and were surrounded by staff who truly cared. Dr. Tawny made an awful process as smooth as it could be, and her kindness will be a lasting memory of our final moments with our sweet dog.
Dr. Freeman is an outstanding veterinarian. He made us feel like he truly cares about our dog, showing empathy and compassion. The front desk and other staff were excellent as well. I cannot recommend Overland Park Veterinary Center enough!
You were supposed to give Cuban a shave not a groom. We talked about this when I brought him in and we talked about this when you called me as I was on my way to work after I dropped him off. A complete shave not a groom. You groomed him into a lion's cut. The night before I trimmed his bangs so he can see. All you did was shave his torso. And didn't even straighten up is facial hair because he still has the same crooked cut I gave him with the scissors. A shave means a shave not a lions cut. You did a great job at Sasha office visit . You charge me over $ 225 for a lion's cut and did not straighten out the mess I did trimming his bangs. I just moved here , thought I found a good vet for my dogs but that's not the case , I will take my business elsewhere. The third picture is what his face should look like .
My dog was bit at the dog park & this vet was closest to my house so I walked in at 11am on a Saturday (they close at 12) & they helped me even though we were new to the clinic. The staff stayed after noon to stich her & make sure she was ready to go home. Thank you so much for going above & beyond! I’ll be bringing my pets here from now on.
I really trust these vets. My Labrador puppy has seen Dr. Doyle as her main vet since 8 weeks old. She was attacked at 13 weeks old by another dog and I’ve been very impressed with their care for her since then. We have now been helped by nearly every vet in office for various emergencies/check ins related to the attack. They always come out to the car to have a conversation with me about what’s going on, discuss options and their prices with me and I never feel judged for whatever decisions I have to make. Also, my pup loves going and gets so excited when we get into the drive through (see photo for perked ears proof), overall I am glad we picked this vet 6 months ago.
