Friendly staff and asked us a lot of questions. They allowed us to make the best decision for our cat, rather than force high dollar care on us. I am grateful for them allowing us to bring our sick cat in on a holiday weekend on very little notice. She's back to her full-of-life self. Thank you DPAH!

I love Dr. Phillips Animal Hospital! We came in with an emergency two years ago, and our dog recovered quickly. Dr. Qasim and all the medical and front desk staff truly care about our little dog, Taco, and us as fur parents!

I called ahead about bringing my dog in for an eye injury and was clearly told the visit would be around $70 and that they would not charge me emergency visit price because I called ahead of time. Based on that, I made the drive over an hour expecting a standard exam. The moment I walked in, the price suddenly jumped to $130+ because it was now considered an "emergency visit." That was never explained on the phone. If you’re going to charge emergency pricing, be upfront about it before people waste their time driving there with a pet that needs care. On top of that, they immediately started suggesting additional tests like eye pressure testing, which felt unnecessary for a straightforward injury and came across like upselling rather than actual care. This wasn’t about the cost, it was about the lack of transparency. Quoting one price and then doubling it in person is misleading and frustrating, especially in a stressful situation with your pet. I ended up leaving because I didn’t feel comfortable with how this was handled. Clear communication and honesty should be the bare minimum.

Most recent issue: Brought my dog to this vet to check out a lump on his leg and he performed a cytology test on my dog. For those who do not know what this examines it is to find out if the lump is cancerous our infectious so quite worrisome. I was told I would receive the results in 5 days. I called on 7 days later to wait for through the weekend and was told that they did not have the information and that they would text the vet and he would give us a call. I then had to wait 3 more days to then have to call them again for the receptionist to find the results and email them to me and tell me that the vet would call us and explain the results. Once receiving the results I found out the results were finished 3 days after the sample went out. I waited 10 days and had to worry for 10 days. This is unacceptable behavior from someone who is supposed to care for your animals. To add on this I still have not received a call from the vet. Thanks chat gpt for the explanation. One of the few very important reasons I will not be bringing another animal here. NOTE: receptionists are pleasant THE VET IS THE ISSUE.

I truly don’t know how grateful I am to Dr. Phillips Animal Hospital. When we arrived, Romeo was critical, but within 4 hours he was back on his feet. Huge thanks to the emergency staff, Michelle, and the amazing Doctor who took such incredible care of him. It was a bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. Thank you for giving Romeo the care and attention he needed we’re so thankful! I could not be more greatful!!!!

The staff is very helpful and kind they seem to care about the animals they are working with. Alinna was so kind to Miss Elsa my cat. Elsa now wants more cuddles than before and didnt mind being at the vet for a micro chip

Dr. Qasim is an outstanding doctor , intuitive and caring. I trust him with our pet . He accurately diagnosed our beagle when we brought her in after hours (she was in a bad state, trembling in pain and trouble breathing ) some months ago . Within 48 hours she was healed under his care. He personally called us to follow up and see how she was doing & I was surprised when he gave us his cell number to make sure we could contact him directly during that scary time . His staff has always been very kind and attentive & I find him to be a truly caring doctor & we have since brought her back in for regular veterinary care & we will be continuing on with her care here.
