Dr. Kooima shows true compassion for the pets she treats. She has been caring for our dog since he was a puppy (15+ years) and we followed her from our previous vet office so she could continue his care. Staff was welcoming on our first visit and we look forward to returning to Dr. Kooima for our future vet needs.
Dr. Kooima and her staff are consistently positive, compassionate, and caring towards me and my girls. As my fur babies advance in age, I really appreciate the benefits that come with a Pet Prime membership, especially since I visit more frequently. Dr Kooima provides excellent vet care and is great at helping me understand any medical needs or procedures.
Literally every employee I've encountered here has top-tier customer service. My dog doesn't need much in terms of vet needs, but the staff still give their all and I can tell they care. The clinic is always clean, smelling pleasant, and functionally up-to-date. Thanks!

I usually take my dogs to Dr Sears at Skyline, but when my Harry was having diarrhea and needed to be seen, she was not in the office. I very much appreciated being seen instead by Dr Gaines. From the front desk staff, to the vet tech Jordan, to Dr Gaines herself, I felt we were treated exceptionally well. Especially with it being short notice! The treatment plan and instructions were explained and I never felt rushed or that my questions weren’t answered. Thank you so much!!
The entire staff is so nice and friendly. They have been great with my pets. Dr Heather is wonderful. She takes however long it my take to answer any questions and explains everything thoroughly. This was the first vet that has shared the complete results of a urine test and explained what everything was. Anywhere else all you get is "your pet has a UTI" that may be enough for most people, but I was really impressed with her complete clarity and explanation. Thank you Dr Heather and The Ridge staff. You are wonderful.
