Emma saw a vet in Topeka for 13 years and we moved. I never thought I would find a vet that cared so much for Emma as the last. But, I'm so thankful I found Southside Pet. They were very nice and thorough and have helped Emma theough some rough seasons. They didn't run extra tests just to take my money. They listened and were as aggressive as I wanted to treat some conditions, and a watch and see approach to others, always validating my decision. Emma has seen a few different vets, but Dr Anderson has taken the best care. We have also had some pretty amazing techs, but I think Emma likes Haliegh the best. You can tell They all care for your animals and I feel confident of Emma's care. The beautiful ladies upfront, Allison and Jessica, are also very welcoming and kind. Im so glad I took a chance on this place, and you should, too!

Best place for my cats! I take Olive (Norwegian forest cat) and Butters (domestic longhair demon) here and they have always been great with them. Dr. Plass taught me how to hold Butters’ head instead of the scruff of her neck to put her in the kennel and it’s so much easier to get her in there now. Southside always takes great care of my fluffballs! Thank you, Southside!

I have been taking my puppy Olive to Southside pet hospital and find their service to be amazing. Anytime I have a question or need something checked they are happy go get us in right away. Not to mention, they went above and behind when she was spayed and even carried her around in a little cross body pouch to make sure she felt safe. They called me multiple times well my puppy was spayed to ensure I know every detail of what is going on. I have brought one other dog here in the past and have always thought they have done great work. They have Paw plans that make paying for larger surges like the spay, initial vaccines and appointments much more affordable do you don’t have to front the costs at once. All staff has been great.

I retired after 40+ years in vet med, and our regular family vet moved out of state. So, finding great medical care was extremely important. I've worked with some of the greatest people in vet med and some the worst. It's important to find the right fit for your family. I absolutely trust and adore the staff at Southside. The front desk, the techs, the doctors, and the management will do the best for you and your pets. I have a 21-year-old and 7-year-old dog with very different needs and care. They don't ask for unnecessary services. The price for services are reflect of good veterinary care. The entire staff works as a team to ensure that the best care and practices are followed. This is a difficult find and a precious resource. I typically don't leave reviews. However, it is still important to me that all furry family members have the best possible care.

Dr. Plas is an exceptional veterinarian! She has provided amazing care for my 16 year-old cat Garfield at a time that we needed to know what was going on with him. She has deep knowledge of cats, she’s very approachable which has made this process so much easier. If you’re looking for a vet who truly understands and treats cats with care, I cannot recommend Dr. Plas enough.

Dr. Patterson is AMAZING. Gave us all the options and information we need to keep Mr. Puppy healthy and happy. I will only bring my fur babies here. Vet Tech Arin and Sophia took the time to get to know Mr. Puppy on her first visit to the Vet. Casey, the hospital Manager, welcomed us to the Southside Family and made us feel at home.

Dr. Wilcox and her staff worked our kitten in when I called with concerns. Dr. Wilcox checked in with me & let me know how she was doing. Bonus, Little Miss came home freshly bathed & very well taken care of
