I took my bearded dragon in because I thought she was impacted. Dr. Stachmus took a few minutes to do his physical exam and palpate her abdomen after I told the tech what was going on. Dr told me he felt nothing abnormal in her abdomen and said she just had a GI upset (which has never happened and nothing in her diet has changed) and gave panacur (dewormer) and discharged us. Did not offer any diagnostics to confirm there were no underlying issues. Within 12 hours my bearded dragon had declined significantly so I took her to work with me to get some X-rays (the vet I work at doesn’t see exotics). Right away it was very apparent that something in her abdomen was very abnormal so I took her to VEG ER for pets. Within 30 seconds of palpating her abdomen the doctor at VEG felt a very large mass like structure. After lab work and an ultrasound, it was confirmed she had late stage gastric carcinoma and was euthanized immediately to keep her from suffering any longer. Long story short I feel like there was no care when it came to my pet. No diagnostics offered. It was a waste of my time and money to bring my pet here and it caused an extra 24 hours of pain for her as well because if diagnostics had been done, I would have gotten answers sooner and my baby wouldn’t have had to suffer any longer. Wouldn’t recommend for your exotics. Staff was nice tho.

The staff at Brookwood are phenomenal! I had a 15 year old American Pit Bull Terrier who was quality of life was declining; it was time for him to go home. I called several clinics with no success. Euthanasia isn't easy, especially when it's a beloved companion you've had since high school and I wanted to choose a place with compassionate folks and a decent price, and Brookwood Animal Clinic was an excellent match. They obliged my request to have my boy taken care of in the car (he hated the vet so much), they gave me as much time as I needed even though it was Halloween and late in the day. They were respectful of my baby's body, and his cremains were returned to me very quickly; also the urn upgrade was very reasonable. Extremely thankful for them during a difficult time. Thanks guys!

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend!!! They take great care of my dogs. They do have free roaming cats in the office though so be warned if your animal is aggressive towards cats when you walk in. Be wary.

I took my dog max in for his ears. They cleaned his ears and gave me antibiotics for the hematoma. 4 days into his antibiotics his hematoma was a lot worse so i called them and they told me if its not better in a few days. I waited and called in a few more days. I was told they couldnt get him in for another week. I was told they would make a small insision and 3 small stirches. The day of the surgery i showed up and was turned away because the doctor wasnt there.They didnt even call me they waited til I showed up. I was told the surgery would be 300 but when i went to pick him up it was 100 more. Apparently the infection was so bad when they got in there that they gave him antibiotc and pain shots on top of his oral meds but the only reason the infection was so bad was because he wasnt treated properly to begin with and kept putting me off when i called. I was told they could leave off the pain meds to lessen the price. I couldnt do that so I just paid it. They mangled my dogs ear so bad that its permantly flopped over. He will never be the same.He is a full blood German shepard and his ears were thick and stood straigt up but because of them its permanently severly mangled and droopy.

Lovely staff who are always willing to help, genuinely listen to your concerns and try their best to set you up with premium pet health care at an affordable cost! ( I love their turtles lmao)

Best vet in town for sugar gliders, highly recommended for exotics of all kinds.
