Have been using Red Cedar Animal Hospital for over 10 years. With 2 dogs I visit frequently . The Vet knows how to care for dogs. The service is both professional and caring for your dogs. When in for a visit they take the time to go over all the issues of your visit. I have nothing but good to say about their practice and the vet.

We have gone to Red Cedar Animal Hospital for the last 5 years with our cats and now we have added to the family. The entire staff is extremely kind and caring! They all take their time and explain everything and offer tips and tricks! My Tiberius loved seeing them on his first vet trip!

Boarded my dog here over the holidays, and am blown away by how great my experience was. My dog is a bit anxious so I'm always worried to leave him behind, but even before I dropped him off the staff assured me he would be okay and offered to send me pictures of him while he was there. While I was gone my dog got a bit of "happy tail" and the staff were extremely communicative and stayed at the clinic late so a friend could bring by what they needed to help him stay safe! When I picked my dog up a few hours ago, he was so happy to go home but clearly loved the staff. He is in a good mood, eating normally, and currently napping next to me. He was clearly well taken care of and the staff were so sweet. Would absolutely board my sweet pup here again and would recommend to anyone!

Red Cedar Animal Hospital is a great veterinary practice! The vets and the staff are patient and knowledgeable and take the time to explain the issue at hand. Recently, we needed to get our dog to RCAH for follow-up on a recent surgery. However, we were down to one car that day. The staff was kind enough to let us drop Roxie off and pick her up later so that we could keep the other appointments we had that day. If we have a concern with a dog on a new issue we are not familiar with we are comfortable reaching out to ask questions because we know the vets and staff are keeping up on the latest veterinary information. I highly recommend Red Cedar Animal Hospital for the care and follow-through I have received for my cat for close to three years. I would simply say that Dr. Barb Meining and her staff show the highest level of professionalism, kindness and truly care about my cat’s wellbeing. In my view, this distinguishes Red Cedar Animal Hospital. She has received care from Red Cedar since she was a kitten, and I will not go anywhere else. I will do everything to keep my cat healthy, and I appreciate the time Dr. Meining takes in educating me about the care needed as a (now somewhat) new cat owner.

Dr. Meining is one of the best veterinarians I've ever met. She is intuitive and caring. And she has always done the very best she can for my dogs.

I have always had a good experience at Red Cedar Vet. Dr. Meining has been compassionate and straightforward with me, whether it was hip x-rays, bloodwork results or end-of-life decisions, my dogs and I have been treated respectfully and with care. I love how Dr. Barb will persist in finding a diagnosis/treatment when the problem is unusual or rare. She doesn't quit on my dogs.
