Petfolk Veterinary & Urgent Care - North Miami Biscayne

Our dog had a cyst on her back that burst, began bleeding, and she began biting at it. We decided to make an appt at Petfolk and it was an excellent experience. It is a well-designed and clean clinic, with great staff. Jeremiah, the vet assistant who saw us, had a wonderful and calming way with animals. The vet who examined her was also very professional. The price was reasonable and we came away with a cleaned wound and needed medication. A very impressive clinic! We would not hesitate to come back, if needed.

When my dog cut her paw on a Saturday, my regular vet was closed. I found this clinic online, and they had an appointment open just an hour later. The staff was incredibly friendly, on time, and great to work with. The facility and waiting room are beautiful and clean. While it was a little pricey, I highly appreciated their transparency, they showed me an estimated cost breakdown before doing any work. They also sent me detailed notes and followed up immediately when I texted a follow up question.

I can’t say enough good things about Petfolk North Miami Biscayne. I brought my puppy, Kodak, in because he was throwing up, very lethargic, and clearly not himself. I was extremely worried and even arrived much earlier than my scheduled appointment. They immediately put us in a room and Kodak was seen right away. The staff was absolutely amazing kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. Kodak was treated so gently and with so much compassion from start to finish. Being new to the area, I was nervous about where to take him, especially with how many places tend to overcharge or take advantage when you’re scared for your pet. This was NOT that place. The pricing was very affordable, transparent, and fair, which I truly appreciated. Kodak is feeling so much better now, and we were sent home with a care package along with very clear instructions on his medications and dosing times. Everything was explained thoroughly, and I felt confident caring for him once we got home. I’m beyond grateful for the care Kodak received. He’s feeling better than ever, and I finally have peace of mind knowing I’ve found a trustworthy vet. I highly recommend Petfolk to anyone looking for honest, compassionate, and affordable pet care.

Really appreciate everyone in this office! Our pug Benny was not doing well and Dr. Liz and her team were on top of it! It is so hard seeing your animal in distress but they were quickly able to stabilize him and even let us stay with him while he received treatment. Ultimately, our pug had to be referred to an emergency 24/7 vet and Dr. Liz made sure to call them ahead of time to go over the case and transfer records. He is doing a lot better now thanks to their care! Also, their membership option is great for your wallet and the interior decor itself is quite calming. We will be going back for any future vet needs!

I love this place. This actually my second encounter. In this encounter I took my baby Bruno chihuahua actually just got him a week prior and he got hurt on me. He tipped off the edge off my couch but anyway as soon as I got there I was greeted by ASHLEY she was so comforting and so supportive about my concerns and questions. At the end she made everything so much better and Dr Tania Lozzo was so awesome. I recommend this place to anyone and don’t forget they have a plan for your pet as well. Thank you Ashley

I have to say, Petfolk Veterinary & Urgent Care is one of the cleanest veterinary clinics I’ve ever seen. Ashley, the technician, and Dr. Fiat were extremely professional and patient with me throughout the entire visit. They took the time to answer all of my questions and explained my dog’s bloodwork in simple, easy-to-understand terms. Both my dog and I felt completely at ease during the examination and radiology. They even walked me through the X-rays, explaining exactly what I was looking at, which I really appreciated. Based on their findings, they recommended that I take my dog to VEG ER for Pets for urgent care. Thanks to their quick and thorough assessment, my dog was able to receive further diagnosis and the surgery he needed to save his life. I’m incredibly grateful for their professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care.

I am so happy I found Petfolk! They were so helpful with my little Mia’s, pancreatitis attack among other issues. Everyone was sooo sweet and helpful! Dr Tania was amazing as well as the rest of the team but specially Bryanna. I went there ara an urgent situation but loved the care so much I am switching to them permanently.
