I’ve been bringing my cats here since 2020 when my previous vet couldn’t diagnose what was wrong with my eldest cat. It turned out that he had an abscess and needed to get it taken care of asap. When my other cat was diagnosed with a terminal tumor, they were extremely nice and I made the transition very easy for my old boy Toro. Dr. Soboroff is the absolute best! Everyone on their staff is also amazing. I’m looking at you Justin! I’ve been very satisfied with the care, service and professionalism of this office over the years and will be taking my cats here as long as they are around, and I recommend anyone with cats to bring them here for their healthcare as well.

Dr. Soboroff has saved my 10 yrs old cat's life twice. Moscato had urinary tract blockage. Great care here and they don't have dogs around. My cats are afraid of the barking. So they love it here!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kathryn Gilbert and the team at New York Cat Hospital. Walking in with my cat i could immediately feel the difference. For the first time ever, I felt like someone was actually looking at my cats health as a whole picture instead of just putting out little fires. I came in with a long list of concerns about my Manx cat and honestly expected the usual shrug and vague reassurances I had gotten elsewhere. Instead, Dr. Gilbert sat with us, listened to every detail, asked questions that showed she really understood what was going on, and connected things no one had ever connected before. She explained what she was thinking in a way that felt collaborative, not rushed or dismissive. I left feeling like my cat was finally getting the kind of thoughtful, intelligent care I’d always hoped for but never found. The difference between this visit and my previous vet was so dramatic that I spent the rest of the day telling my partner how relieved I felt. It is a rare feeling to walk out of a vet appointment and think my cat is truly in the right hands, but that is exactly what happened here. If you have a cat with a complicated history or you’ve ever felt brushed off, this is the place you want to go. Haru and I are officially loyal patients now 💜

I have been taking my cats to Dr Soboroff for years. He is an amazing vet and one of the kindest people I have ever met. I love the fact that he thinks outside of the box. He realizes that not all cats have the same personalities and temperaments, and sometimes due to that he will need to come up with creative ways to get them to take medicine/supplements.

My Tiffany is precious to me and I do not trust everyone with her vet care. I am pleased with the quality of vet care she is getting at New York Cat Hospital. Dr. Gilbert is very knowledgeable, has effective communication skills and treats my Tiffany with care and great professionalism. The supporting staff is also amazing. Thank you.
