I highly recommend this office. I was often able to get same day appointments and medications in office. From the receptionists to vet techs and veterinarians, I always felt comfortable with my dog in their care, and she was always excited to go to the office. All veterinarians I have seen at this office have been incredibly transparent, communicative, and thorough. Even after moving out of NYC, Dr. Putter worked with me regarding an insurance claim, saving me thousands of dollars. Support this locally owned practice!

I brought my dog in for an appointment that turned out to be an emergency visit. After a brief conversation and several snide comments from @Dr Laurence Putter, he hospitalized my dog for two nights, charged me $2000 and still couldn’t tell me what was wrong with her. His response when I asked was, "I don’t know, and you’ll probably never know." When my dog’s test results came back negative of the rare virus he convinced me she had, I was able to visit her for an hour during the day. I noticed her stomach was making a lot of noise. So I asked to speak with @Dr Laurence Putter before I left. He walked into the room seemingly annoyed that he had to speak with me. I brought up the noises her stomach was making and he responded with, "Well, YOU brought her in with gastrointestinal problems and I don’t think she’s eaten today. So what do you think?" I would recommend more professional development for the staff on how to speak to clients. I would not recommend this veterinary practice to anyone. Their focus is on draining your bank account rather than helping your pet. I loved the front desk staff tho. They were way more competent than @Dr Laurence Putter.

We visited Lenox Hill Veterinarians for the first time today with a very sick and elderly hamster. We made the decision to euthanize her, following a conversation with Dr. Mark. Everyone in the office was kind and professional, and I especially want to note how wonderful Dr. Mark was with our two children. He explained everything clearly and patiently, listened to their questions, and answered them so respectfully. He was very gentle with our hamster, and shared his expertise and perspective on outcomes without making us feel we needed to choose one thing vs another. It made a difficult experience as comfortable as it could possibly be. Thank you!

The best vet in Manhattan! They’re all very friendly, professional and wonderful with my dog. We’ve gone in three times and had excellent care everytime. They even take the time to call and follow up to see how he’s doing. I will go here anytime we need vet services.

Support your local Veterinarian owned veterinary practice. Have been bringing my dogs here since the old location. The doctors and staff are kind, knowledgeable and excellent. Dr Putter has great clinical knowledge and is a skilled experienced surgeon. The staff is kind and helpful. Always able to squeeze you in for an emergency.

Great vets. I go to Dr. Pudder. He discovered thyroid and intestinal issues with my cat Charlie, who was losing weight. Charlie was 6 # when I first went to see the Dr. Pudder gave Charlie meds after needed blood work. I am happy Charlie is now 8 lbs no intestinal issues. Would recommend this facility to anyone needing great care for their furry buddies.

Lenox Hill Veterinary is really amazing. We worked with Dr. Sanchez with our Maltese with multiple serious issues and the doctor was really helpful and the facility is great. Highly recommended!
