My dog Lucky loves Dr. Fisch and the team at Clinton Vet. I’ve started to bring him there since he was 8 weeks old. It’s always easy to schedule an appointment (Millie is amazing!), and there is no wait time when we get there for the visit. The atmosphere is very friendly and supportive, and the doctor is always very to the point. He doesn’t prescribe unnecessary tests. The pricing is very reasonable. Lucky literally runs there and is always very happy about his visit. No treats today because of his upset stomach but look at this happy boy taking care of his meds on his own.
I used Dr. Fisch at the Clinton Veterinary (419 West 55th Street, NY, NY) ever since I moved to NYC four years ago. He and his staff are friendly, caring and flexible. If I called him and he was with another client, he would always call back, even on the weekends or after hours. If I needed an appointment right away due to an illness with my dog, he always made time to see me right away. My dog , a yellow Labrador mix, recently passed away after 15 and a half years. I think Dr. Fisch’s care and compassion had alot to do with his longevity. I no longer have any pets but if I did, Clinton Veterinary is where I would go. I highly recommend them.
Our baby boy had a deep teeth cleaning with 2 molar removals recently. Dropped him off around 930 am and was told he'd be ready for pick up around 3pm. I was so nervous the whole time because he would be asleep under general anesthesia. Millie at the desk was very nice and explained the whole process to us and kept us informed every hour we called to check lol.... Katherine was super cute and gentle... helping our fur baby in and out of the procedure. Wolfgang is so sweet, who we noticed was so kind to all the fur babies there. Dr Fisch is an AMEOWZING Vet. He explained and showed us Xrays of our sons teeth and what needed to be done etc etc. Brought our baby home.. he was groggy for a day and then back to normal!!! His teef are now so sparkly and breath so furresh🪻✨️🪻✨️🪻✨️🪻✨️🪻✨️🪻 Really recommend him!! Convenient location, safe and clean. 10/10 thank you!!!😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻
Excellent clinic! The staff is caring, professional, and truly love animals. My dog was treated with compassion and expertise. Highly recommend! 🐾
Dr. Fisch is the best vet in Hells Kitchen. He is very gentle with pets and goes at their own pace. I couldn't ask for a better pet who has treated my pets over the years. Excellenr rates. The overall appearance of the office needs improvement, but don't be fooled. You're pet will be treated by the best vet in town.
Absolutely horrible experience with horrible customer service. I had my dog’s teeth cleaned here. They pulled my dog’s 4 front teeth out without calling me and asking for permission. It’s standard practice to have the vets call before extract even when the client may not answer. Not only that, but I could see blood on my dogs legs from where they put in the catheter for the anesthesia for which they had to shave two legs to put in. Will attach a photo for reference. Overall, there was a lot of blaming the client for not specifying the standard practice and there is no common courtesy given out here. My dog has been permanently altered and not even the decency to check in with the owner is unacceptable. I was refunded the extractions but I still paid 600$ plus. I would never come here again to deal with the rude staff and a horrible office with it being in an unkempt basement with the main surgery room being a bathroom. The vet also didn’t even care to mention the recovery process for pulling out 4 teeth from my dog. I had to ask him myself if my dog would even feel pain where the vet responded he seems fine.
I have a bad review about this clinic. Especially about the veterinarian doctor. After visiting the clinic, my blood pressure was higher.I have poor English, but that does not stop me from going to other doctors and agreeing and understanding each other. Usually people are open to the fact that you are a foreigner. I saw a lot of neglect from the vet. He did not want to talk to me, he did not even want to understand what was easy to say. He all the while wanted to talk with my relatives who speak better English. For any attempt I made to explain the situation with the dog, he did not want to listen to me. My dog was examined, they gave the dog medicine. I paid $ 130 and got a lot of negativity and disrespect from the doctor. The woman who works at the reception was more kind to me.
