My sweet Lily had cataract surgery on both eyes and we’ve had the best experience with Dr. Bergstrom and everyone who works here! Lily’s vision is fully restored and we couldn’t be happier with the whole process including the pre-surgical appts to surgery itself and the follow up visits. From the receptionists to the techs, everyone has been so kind and helpful. Dr. Bergstrom is quick to respond to messages outside of scheduled visits too!

10/10 experience. The staff and doctors are truly outstanding, very knowledgeable, caring. The office itself is modern and welcoming, which immediately put us at ease. At every follow-up, we felt completely confident that our little girl was receiving the best care possible. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of specialized eye care for their pet.

On Halloween I noticed my 10 years old Beagle, Katie, was showing signs of blindness. A week later, at her already scheduled exam, I asked her vet to examine her eyes. He saw no obvious abnormalities so we decided to wait to see if Katie got better on her own. On Wednesday, Nov. 12, it was obvious that something was very wrong and it wasn't going to heal on its own. So I started looking for an animal ophthalmologist. Thankfully, I found out the Eye Vets were doing their bi-monthly satellite office in Bowling Green that day. I live 5 minutes away, so my husband and I rushed her to them. Dr. Bergstrom and his staff were incredibly kind and helpful especially when my husband had to leave for a bit to handle a previously scheduled meeting and Katie and I were left by ourselves. Dr. Bergstrom performed an ERG test on Katie's eyes and confirmed his suspicions of SARDS (Sudden Acquired Retinal Degeneration Syndrome). While he told me there is no treatment for SARDS, he also assured me it is not a life threatening disease. Katie can still live out a full life. My husband, I, and our other fur kids are helping Katie transition to her new reality. I am incredibly thankful for the Eye Vets. If you are needing to have your fur baby's eyes looked after, I highly recommend Dr. Bergstrom and the Eye Vets. Their care was excellent and the cost was very reasonable.

We were put at ease & made to feel important from our first phone call. Upon arrival the entire staff was calm & welcoming. The exam was professional & thorough. The doctor & technicians were genuinely interested in making friends with our german shepherd. (Not always the case ) we were fortunate that our pet is doing well managing his condition. Moving forward we feel confident & blessed to have your team in our corner.

My Martin had the best experience with Dr. Blomberg and his team at The Eye Vets. Who knew a 3 year old Cavalier would have bilateral cataracts! Thankfully caught early by our vet-Tobe Singleton-she is wonderful! Everything about our experience was amazing. This was scary-but Martin could not have been in better or more truly caring hands! Everyone was always so friendly and celebrated each milestone of his recovery with genuine happiness! If you need sn eye vet-these folks are the BEST

Dr Bergstrom and his staff are amazing!! They are very knowledgeable and explain things well so you understand. They are always so nice with smiles on their faces. Anytime you call , text or email them they respond promptly . My cat Titan had sudden loss of vision due to double retina detachments caused by hypertension. After getting a diagnosis from Dr Bergstrom and starting medication for hypertension , Titans retinas reattached and he has regained vision! I would highly recommend this office for your furbabies eye care needs !!

I truly cannot say enough amazing things about The Eye Vets and the care they gave my sweet Eevee. From the moment we walked in, I felt like we were in the best possible hands. Every single person made us feel welcomed, and the practice is beautiful, clean, and built with dogs (and their owners) in mind. It’s scary having to deal with any sort of medical situation with your pet, especially something involving their eyes, but the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel informed, reassured, and genuinely cared for. They took the time to explain everything in a way that didn’t feel rushed or overly clinical, and I could tell they truly love what they do. Eevee’s surgery went so smoothly, and her recovery has been incredible. What stood out most to me was how much they treated Eevee like their own. She wasn’t just another patient. She was loved on, comforted, and cared for in a way that means the world to me. 🥹 If you’re ever in a situation where your pet needs specialized eye care, please trust me when I say: The Eye Vets are the absolute best. I am beyond grateful for their expertise, compassion, and the peace of mind they gave me during such a stressful time. Eevee and I are forever thankful!! 🤍🐾
