Napa West Pet Hospital

I visited this clinic because I needed health certificates for airline travel with my cats. Before scheduling and again when I arrived, I specifically explained that I needed the exam and certificate required for travel. I was quoted approximately $203 per cat by two different staff members. After the exams were completed, I was informed that the actual cost would be several hundred dollars more than what I had been told. My frustration was not with the price itself, but with the fact that I made my decision based on the information provided by the clinic. What disappointed me most was how the situation was handled. When I tried to explain that I had relied on the information given by their staff, I felt my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. The owner ultimately ended the discussion without offering any solution. The medical staff were professional, and I did receive the documents I needed. However, the communication regarding pricing and the way the issue was handled left me very disappointed.

Great! We take out 2 cats here. We also foster random stray kittens we manage to catch. They always do the full work up and start vaccines. "Fixing" is horribly expensive here unfortunately so, just do that at Napa humane. Otherwise, all of the staff is very kind and caring!

I can't imagine a nasty, mean review! "SHORTY aka Sweetie" has a great Vet, Dr. Lopez. This practice as a whole has been wonderful! The front and back staff are excellent in their way with the pet I cherish! Humans or pet owners can complain, it's really up to the pets, isn't it! Sweetie used to shake, but now she handles it better! It's up to you if you want to take the medication or not. Dr. is very thorough!

Absolutely fantastic. My dog had a corroded disc in his spine and was paralyzed on his bottom half. They were open on the Sunday after Christmas and took us in right away. After the exam they called around the bay area to find the needed specialized surgeon that was open. If it hadn't been for this vet, my dog wouldn't be walking today. We are very thankful to this team!

Regarding Dr. Rodriguez. He is very pleasant, and very knowledgeable. However, he is inclined to talk more than listen, and his speaking is very fast, so is a bit hard to keep up with. Even so, I have every confidence that he is a great veterinarian. The front desk staff are kind, compassionate and very efficient.

Brought cat and dog for annual visit and vaccines. I find Napa West friendly and efficient and whether they’re being truthful or not, they act like they really like my pets. I do too, so I appreciate that!

The staff at the vet hospital were all very friendly, and definitely seemed very knowledgeable. For everything that had to be taken care of was able to be done in a timely manner. They did a great job of explaining which different things would be relating to my dog. I will definitely be happy to continue taking my dog to see them. I would also recommend this location to other people I know.
