It is not an easy thing to decide if and when your pet has reached their end of life. There is a internal turmoil that the pet's family goes through in balancing quality of life with medical treatment and the desire to have our pets live forever. When our beloved Mickey (dog) showed us that he was suffering, we made the decision that we wanted to give him the most comfy cozy send off that we could; at home, in his bed and all his familiar smells. From the moment I called House Paws to schedule the appointment for euthanasia, I felt a sense of comfort and peace. All of the staff showed empathy and grace. The Vet who arrived with her partner was kind and patient and most of all, reassuring that this was a merciful decision that we've made for Mickey. I can't say it's not easy, but that is an understatement. Losing a beloved pet (we had him for 12 wonderful years) is so so so difficult and heartbreaking. But, I would not recommend anyone else, to help another through such a difficult time. House Paws was amazing from the beginning to the end; and even after - I just received a call from House Paws to check in on us and if we need any emotional or therapeutic support. Thank you for making such a difficult decision, procedure and life changing event as tolerable as possible!

My partner and I scheduled an appointment at House of Paws today.  Upon entering we were greeted, seated, and waited approximately 10 minutes to be seen. The waiting area smelled pleasant, was clean, and nicely decorated. When we were called in, the technician came and spoke to us, and listened to all our concerns. After waiting about 5 more minutes, the vet came in.  She was very professional and also listened to any questions that I had. She answered all my questions and I was satisfied with the responses. We paid $75 for the exam alone. Later on, we were emailed a breakdown of the costs, of the possible procedures, that our dog would need.  In my opinion, their prices are a bit high, so just be aware of that before coming. For a neuter procedure, the estimate we were given was, $769.91. When in the past, Animal Alliance, located in Lambertville New Jersey, charged us $200 (in total) , for another pet of ours.  If you want fast service, in a pleasant environment, please come here, but if you're looking for something more budget-friendly, this isn't the vet for you.

My dog and I absolutely LOVE Housepaws Morrisville! Dr. Hecht and her team have always gone above and beyond for my dogs care. Pricing is fair but most importantly they’re kind, patient, compassionate & empathetic.

I can’t say enough good things about House Paws! They’ve been over several times over the past year to care for our two cats and I’ve never had a bad experience. Taking our cats to the vet has always been a very stressful process for both me and the cats so having a vet come to the house has been a game changer. Their customer service is always top notch and their mobile vets are always polite and very professional. Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough about this visit. Dr D'Souza and Rikki were on time, incredibly gentle with my two cats and provided a thorough checkup including vaccines. They were great to work with and I would highly recommend their services. This was so much easier than trying to capture and crate them for a car ride.

I am writing to formally express concern regarding the level of customer service currently being provided at the Morrisville location. During a recent call to schedule an appointment, I asked a clarifying question after the representative provided detailed information. I simply restated what was explained to confirm that the service I needed required an appointment. The representative responded with, "I just said that, did I not?" The tone and wording came across as dismissive and unprofessional. As someone who works in healthcare myself, I understand how important communication, patience, and empathy are—especially when clients are calling about a beloved pet who may be unwell. Interactions like this significantly impact a client’s comfort and confidence in entrusting their animal to your care. Unfortunately, based on that phone call alone, I did not feel reassured that my dog would be treated with the attentiveness and compassion he deserves. I was fully prepared to move forward with over $1,000 in recommended care for my dog, but the experience made me reconsider. I have also been told by others that service quality has declined since the previous doctor resigned, which is concerning. I share this feedback in hopes that it raises awareness and encourages improvement in professionalism and customer service standards. Pet owners often call during stressful situations, and kindness, patience, and respect go a long way. For those seeking compassionate and reassuring care, I have personally had positive experiences at BluePearl Pet Hospital.
