Dr. K inspires confidence and my pet likes him too. 🙂 I was referred to this clinic by a coworker and I'm grateful for the referral. All the staff are nice and very helpful. The prices are reasonable. They will find a way to return your call, email or text. Thank you.
I recently took my cat to this animal hospital, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care we received. From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us with kindness and genuine concern. They treated my pet with so much compassion, and it was clear that they truly care about the well-being of the animals they see. The doctor and staff were humble, patient, and quick to help with my cat’s treatment. They explained everything clearly and made sure my pet was as comfortable as possible. What stood out the most to me was that they’re not just about money — they’re genuinely dedicated to keeping pets alive, healthy, and well. They even helped me with payment options, which took a huge weight off my shoulders during a stressful time. It’s rare to find an animal hospital that combines skill, compassion, and honesty the way they do. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants their pets cared for by people who truly love what they do.
This is a truly amazing vet. You can tell the doctor truly cares about the animals. They are extremely affordable with pricing compared to so many other places that are just there for the money. My dog feels comfortable and I feel safe trusting my dog here. The doctor has helped my dog go through so many health problems. They don’t even charge for rechecks whereas a lot of other places will just keep charging you. The staff is extremely friendly as well. The only problem is they are so busy it’s hard to reach them by phone sometimes.
Overpriced. I stopped going 5 years ago. They do unnecessary lab work to collect more money. My dog had diarrhea and they wanted to do labs and x-rays for thousands of dollars. Took him to Whittier Dog and cat hospital and the honest vet told me to feed my dog chicken and rice and monitor and see if it goes away. All I had to pay for is the vet visit. The diarrhea went away in a couple days. I started feeding my dog homemade dog food. My 14 year old white bichon is healthy and runs really fast. He has had zero vet visits in the last 5 years after I switched to homemade dog food. Only goes to get vaccinations.
I am profoundly grateful to have discovered this establishment. The veterinarian, whom I hold in the highest regard, has consistently provided exceptional service. He has always treated my pets with the utmost care, accurately diagnosed their conditions, and never levied unnecessary charges. His dedication to his profession is truly remarkable. I wholeheartedly recommend this veterinary practice to everyone. He has successfully treated over ten of my cats, and I continue to have more under his care. It is rare to encounter a veterinarian of his caliber. May his diligent work and excellent staff be blessed.
I've moved a lot and have elderly animals with various physical issues, so have been to a lot of vet offices. It's always stressful to review quotes provided for treatment, not knowing what charges are fundamentally not critical and can safely be removed. And here is Dr. Kiaei of San Gabriel Animal Hospital who doesn't add unnecessary treatments that would push up the cost of care. He deals with anxious and neurotic pet parents with calm reason, directly addressing the underlying anxieties and medical issues at hand without making the customer feel difficult for asking a lot of questions, and expressing concern or doubt (aka me, lol). He is an anomaly. Though his office was already behind and closing maybe 2 hours late yesterday, I appreciate how he took in and treated a dying feral cat i found under a piece of wood, covered in flies. Poor kitty was totally dehydrated, corpse-cold, and smelling of strong urine but Dr. K treated her on the chance this life could be saved. The technician turned me away to an ER place as i had no appointment, they were clearly behind, and she probably wanted the chance to go home just a little earlier than the normal way late past operating hours - all logical and justified - but the doctor said he would treat this cat that belonged to no one. The place hasn't been updated in a while and doesn't have the polish of more expensive, fancy vet clinics. The floor is totally worn down in various places. I think that instead of remodeling, the money goes back to customers and the care of their pets. Though I'm afraid he will be even harder to see (his clinic is always packed) if his popularity soars even more, it would be an injustice to deny the the man his kudos! He's truly a kind and caring vet. 💕 😇🙏
A big thank you to the wonderful receptionists, staffs, and Dr. K for the gentle care they provided for my beloved cat🤍 My little feline was here two visit for her FVR/FHV complications, dental treatment, and tooth extraction. When we came to pick her up, Dr. K and the staff explained everything so clearly and kindly, even late into the evening at 8pm, they truly went above and beyond. When I was there to pick up my cat, they can just let me paid and let us go, but they didn't and instead, Dr.K ask me to stay for a few minutes since my cat is not fully awake from anesthesia, we stayed there for about 20 min and then Dr.K came checked on my cat to make sure she is ok to go home, which meant so much to me. He also nicely explained her oral condition in simple terms with image, along with all the medication and care instructions. The cost was surprisingly affordable, just $300 for six teeth extraction! Such compassion and integrity from this wonderful hospital really touched my heart🥹Thank you so much🤍🤍 I wholeheartedly support this caring and ethical animal hospital! - I read other 1 stars review and most of them are complaining about wait time… honestly I been to at least three vet for past half year and all of them NEED TO WAIT even with the appointment!!! Which I think is understandable since we can’t really control the exact treatment time according to different pets’ conditions. But I think the wait is worth and since they all gonna wait, why not wait for a good one right?
