I’ve been taking my cats to JVAH for 18 years. I’ve always felt secure and confident with the treatment and respect they’ve received. The doctors and the administrative staff are friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Best of all, it feels like they have a strong affection for and understanding of the animals they treat. I have, and will continue to, recommend their services to friends and family.

My dog went in for an ear infection check up, but the vet was able to give him his annual shot and his fecal exam only one day, which is great. Also, my dog has insurance and the lovely front desk. Ladies are able to submit the claims for you, which is such a time saver. Also making an appointment with them is such a breeze. I just txt them. Thank you!

I found this place a few years ago and I’m honestly so grateful I did. From the front desk to the veterinarians, everyone is kind, respectful, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of—not just for yourself, but for your pets too. Dr. Michael Roemmelt was amazing on my first visit—so gentle, approachable, and immediately put me at ease (it didn’t hurt that he has the same breed as my cat!). I’ve continued to feel that same level of trust and comfort with him at every visit. My younger cat had some digestive issues her first year, but I followed his diet recommendations and she’s been perfectly fine for the past few months. Dr. Colleen Kelly is also fantastic. She’s incredibly kind, explains everything clearly, and makes each visit feel easy and stress-free—which I really appreciate since I try to keep things calm for my cats. Overall, such a positive experience every time I come here. Highly recommend.

This practice has been going downhill for the past few years now and today I did something I should have done a while ago. I had an appointment for my eldest dog who probably has cognitive impairment. I was running late due to furniture being delivered much later than anticipated. I called and said I would be 15 minutes late, the receptionist Kelly tells me if I’m one minute past 15 minutes late I would have to reschedule. For a customer that has been going there for over 13 years with three dogs that was the last straw. To add insult to injury there was no one in the waiting area. They had called me called me three times to reschedule because the "doctor" had other things going on but yet they couldn’t accommodate me getting there 17 minutes late. Last year Dr. Rivera traumatized me and my poor baby after intubating him they call to say they had to remove 24 teeth! and the few they left were not even cleaned. His gums have been bleeding since the cleaning a year ago. There are plenty of capable doctors around with more compassion, my money will go to those doctors. If you’ve had a bad experience with Juniper Valley Animal Hospital, it’s not you it’s them. Find another doctor.

I honestly wish I could give this place more stars. I absolutely love this vet. Their doctors are incredibly knowledgeable and are kind and sweet and their prices are affordable. The only down side is they're so popular that it's difficult to bring a new pet to their care. Juniper Valley is absolutely fantastic. They treated my cat all the way to the end of her life and they are still treating my dog. 15/10 good bois and gurls here.

Quite the hidden gem. Brought my dog in and was treated well by everyone. Dr Kelly was attentive and had a great bedside manner. All procedures were explained in depth. The surprisingly the cost was reasonable. My and the fur babies will definitely be back.

Highly recommend! The staff is lovely, super caring, and incredibly thorough. We’ve been taking our senior cat here for years and will continue to. Thank you Dr. Rivera for healing our cats chronic ear infections! Dr. Kelly is fantastic as well.
