I had a wonderful experience here yesterday with my youngest daughter’s puppy. The excellent experience began with Claudia, who took my call a day before and set up our appointment. Denise was so gentle and patient with our feisty Olive, as was Dr. Gutierrez. They gave her plenty of time to warm up to them, and she did. The office is impecable and beautifully laid out. The Dr. gave me the tour himself. I was very pleased with the testing and handling of our dog and the doctor’s recommendations. There are dozens of Vets in my Miami neighborhood, but I wanted someone versed in homeopathy, a gentle system of medicine I’ve used for more than 30 years on myself, my 4 children from infants to adults, and my beloved departed dog. Driving to Miami Springs was a no brainer. I highly recommend Dr. Gutierrez’s Veterinary office, whether you live in the area or not. I already recommended my eldest daughter take her large senior dog there as soon as she can, so that he can have the best quality of life, for the remainder of his life. That’s how confident I feel about Dr. Gutierrez and his staff. Your pets will be in the best of hands with Dr. Gutierrez’s excellent scope of knowledge, gentle and humane table-side manner!

What a great place to bring your pet! Requesting an appointment online was simple and quick. I had their last slot at 6pm, I got there a little earlier and they were ready for my appointment. Their office is clean, they have Feliway pheromone plug ins so that’s a very nice touch for anxious kitties, their staff attentive and caring, and Dr. Michel has an amazing attitude and bedside manner. I went in because I suspected my cat had an ear infection, Dr. Michel was honest and said that there didn’t look like there was an infection but as a preventative measure he could flush the ears. He came off super honest and forthcoming. Prices are fair, no hidden fees. Definitely trust them with your fur babies.

We took our dachshund for a checkup, vaccines, and a few other things, and Dr. Gutierrez gave us the best service we’ve ever received. He also shared important details about our dog that our previous vet had failed to mention. He provided nutrition guidance and even recommended a book to help us become more knowledgeable about maintaining a healthier lifestyle for Charlie. The clinic is beautiful and exceptionally clean. My wife and I highly recommend Similia to anyone who loves their pet and wants outstanding service and professional advice. Thank you, Doctor, for everything!

From the very beginning, Dr. Michael and his entire team—especially Andrea—were incredibly compassionate, understanding, and kind, not only to Bebe but also to my husband and me. Bebe’s bladder was completely full, and he was unable to urinate—a very serious situation. Dr. Michael acted immediately and with great professionalism: he placed a catheter, administered medication, and kept Bebe under IV fluids at the clinic for three days. Thanks to his quick and careful intervention, Bebe received the critical care he needed. Although I didn’t complete the treatment at Similia, as I chose to continue with my longtime vet (who was closed that day due to the holiday), my vet was very impressed with Dr. Michael’s work and confirmed it was excellent. They also offer very convenient payment plans, which is a huge relief in emergency situations. Without a doubt, this clinic is now one of our top choices for future visits.
