Cat Hospital of Metairie

The Cat Hospital of Metairie has been absolutely wonderful to us. The entire staff is incredibly patient, kind, and accommodating—especially with our deaf cat, Polly, who can be very stressed during visits. They take their time, explain everything clearly, and never make us feel rushed. It’s obvious they truly understand cats and care deeply about their comfort and well-being. We’re so grateful to have a place we trust completely. Highly recommend!

First visit yesterday and I can say everything you have heard about this place is true! Starting with walking in the door and waiting to be seen with no dogs at all on the premises, barking - --the only sound you hear is the other felines in the waiting room chirping with one another. (So serene) They took their time with a shy cat. I highly recommend this place and plan on bringing my other 3 felines here for sure!

Camila my cat have had an issue with her hair and over grooming herself, that started about a year ago and her Dr gave us suggestions about what to do through several visits and nothing seem to work, we took her to a different Dr highly recommended by a friend and to our surprise they didn’t even got her out of her carrier only talked to us without seeing her. But Dr Miller at Metairie Cat Hospital was very thorough with understanding Camila’s home environment as well as explaining the possible reasons for her condition. From now on Dr. Miller is her primary care Dr. We highly recommend Dr Miller and Cat hospital of Metairie.

I was so excited to be able to get an appointment for grooming and a check up for my cat. I consider the Cat Hospital the premier Vet to take care of all of my cats needs. The vet and groomer were very knowledgeable and explained everything so well. My cat was well taken care of and I knew she was in good hands. I will definitely be back again for my Charlee’s checkup in a few months!

I brought my cat, Daffodil, into the Cat Hospital when she was losing significant weight and vomiting constantly. I decided on the Cat Hospital because they are cat-only (duh) and I knew we needed special care. Scheduling our first appointment was simple and the receptionist was very kind. She offered recommendations for who we could see, but we ultimately decided to see Dr. Allen, as she had the soonest availability and I was so worried about my poor kitty. I completed my intake forms in advance, so when it came time for our appointment, we only waited about 5 minutes before being brought into the room. Daffodil was putting up a little fight when it came time for her ultrasound, but the staff took care of her gently & with ease. Dr. Allen took her time to explain treatment options and even showed the ultrasound so I could see what she was looking at. We just had our follow-up appointment, and I was so happy to hear Daffodil is on the mend. I have been so impressed by the care shown for my kitty. This is a practice of true cat-lovers and professionals! Of course, adding pictures of healthy Daffodil for cat tax.

Hands down one of the best visits we ever had with our orange tabby! Loved the clinic and the doctor Dr. Stephanie Thibeau. The team at the hospital is professional, caring and kind to both animals and their owners.

Every person I encountered was wonderful. The vibes were very cat-friendly. The receptionists were very kind, and I loved the nurse, tech, and Dr. Murphy. You can tell they know how to work with cats! However, just know it's a long wait. I will continue to go back because of the lovely service, but it's best to be prepared for the wait.
