Without a doubt, Dr. Collins is the best veterinarian on this planet, and we are so grateful to her, Aubrey, and her entire staff at Higley Groves. Thank God we found them. Our little guy is still alive and healthy as a direct result of their expertise. He suffered a catastrophic back/disc injury, the onset of a seizure disorder, and now an idiopathic vestibular disease crisis. She has single-handedly guided him and us through each of these crises brilliantly. When we bring him in, she and Aubrey get on the floor with him, or tend to him right in the room with you to make sure he is comfortable. We just cannot express how grateful we are for them, their expertise, and their compassion. We had several vets before we found Higley Groves, and there is no question Dr. Collins, Aubrey, and all the staff are in a league of their own. Our little guy is still happy and healthy, and here, because of their excellence. We'll never go anywhere else. From our family to you all, our most sincere thanks for your compassion and your medical brilliance. Thank you for loving our little guy as much as we do.
Firstly - a big thank you to the staff at Higley Groves - ya'll are compassion personified. Been bringing our two kitties here for the past few years and am continually impressed. From their admin staff, to techs and vets: everyone is excellent. They truly care about every animal that walks through their door. Questions? Concerns? Extra documentation? At every turn: they go the extra mile with knowledgeable details, professionalism, and the highest care possible. Highly recommend this office 🖤
Everyone here is wonderful - from the front desk, to the techs and right on to the veterinarians. They listen to me as a pet parent and react to my concerns promptly. I feel like my fur baby is always made to feel as comfortable as possible and well taken care of!
I have had a great experience at Higley Groves with my senior pitbull Penny. I was always able to get an appointment quickly when something was wrong and the staff is very kind, compassionate, and helpful. I highly recommend.
I was told by the doctor here that my cat could be spayed at 4 months old. But today, when I brought her in, they stopped the surgery after noticing her heart rate was too high during the procedure and stitched her back up without completing the spay. Later, they called and told me I still had to pay $500 even though the spay surgery was never completed. When I spoke to the doctor, they then said they usually spay cats between 6–9 months old. I don’t understand this because Dr. Smith previously told me my cat could safely be spayed at 4 months. They said the high heart rate could be because she is still young, because Ragdoll cats may have heart issues, or possibly because of a reaction to the anesthesia. If my cat was too young, why was I told to bring her in for surgery at 4 months old? They are veterinarians — they know Ragdolls can have heart concerns compared to some other cats, so why didn’t they properly check everything before starting the surgery? This has wasted my time and caused unnecessary stress and discomfort for my cat. Charging me $500 for an incomplete surgery feels unfair. I will never come back here again. It feels like they only care about money and not truly about the animals.
Easy to schedule exam for our new puppy. Staff were super friendly and we were seen on time. Dr. Chan was engaging and reassuring.
Brought my pup by today to establish care for her. Dr Smith and the staff were friendly. The lady who checked us in was hilarious when weighing her .8 .9 .8 .9. We will round down she said. She is a girl we have to watch our figure lol. Dr Smith was friendly and knowledgeable. Don't take this wrong but I hope we only see you once a year 😀
