Alta Mesa Animal Hospital

This could be a long review. For I am very grateful to have found this place & that they were accepting new patients. Everyone at this veterinary hospital is amazing and kind. I walked in approx. two years ago w/ my sick dog. He was diagnosed w/canine melanoma cancer & Hemangiosarcoma. From surgery to my constant worrying they have been great throughout everything. Manchee is still with me & we are still showing up for check ins.Dr. Cooper thank you!

I took my newly adopted rescue dog to check on several concerns. The front staff was friendly and helpful and the doctor’s assistant was professional, kind and personable. The doctor was professional, knowledgeable and happy to address all my concerns. I had to follow up with a question two days later and got a response within an hour. This is clearly a place which focuses on the well being of their patients and providing excellent care. I was very impressed that they didn’t try to "upsell" me to inflate the bill. I was very happy with all aspects of my experience.

They were able to get us in faster than our usual vet being that although it wasn't an emergency, it was a symptom our cat has been recently having that has caused some concern. I, we, were extremely impressed and pleased with the entire experience from the moment we walked in and up to the front desk to check in, to the initial contact with the vet technician to the exam with the Dr. They were very professional, friendly, truthful and honest. What more can I say? Alot more but I'll stop there. Hopefully we'll be able to have them treat some of our other 10 cats in the future should the circumstance arise again. Thank you ALTA MESA VET

I will never take my pet here again. She was scheduled for sedation grooming at 8. I dropped her off. It's 1:30 and they still hadn't taken her. They explained that they had other surgeries in front of her. Then in that case. Why wasn't that communicated to me. Why did we make that appt? So again, I won't be bringing her here anymore. Will be looking somewhere else.

We recently had an emergency visit to Alta Mesa Animal Hospital. The staff could not have been more friendly and caring toward me and more importantly our pet dog. They made sure to take care of the injury (a burst anal gland) and made our pat comfortable in the new environment. They even gave us a follow up call to check on the status of nice job!

So nice to establish a reliable Vet for my 11 1/2yr old Cavalier when we traveling out of States. My Cavi was ill almost 2 weeks and we were able to book an appointment plus get him on the waiting list for cancellation list. We were able to get our fur baby in before he got sicker. From making an appointment to actual visit was easy and very satisfying. The staff at the Alta Mesa was very friendly, and professional taking care of our Fur baby. I would recommend Alta Mesa over and over. Happy Fur Mom

Dr Cooper has been caring or our dog since he was a baby! We even followed her from her last practice to here. She is very knowledgeable and caring. This office is so kind and helpful even when my dog gets super nervous and uncooperative.
