Dr. Lauppe is fantastic. The best vet I’ve worked with. I trust him 100% with my fur babies and highly recommend Valley Animal Hospital. The front staff is wonderful. The techs take such great care in comforting my scared pets. They don’t let their packed schedule bring them down. Thank you all for what you do.

Dr. Lauppe is an exceptional veterinarian. He is the only veterinarian I trust completely with the care of all my pets. His genuine compassion for animals is evident in every interaction. Even though Valley Animal Hospital has transitioned from private ownership to a corporate entity, I plan to continue bringing my animals there as long as Dr. Lauppe remains part of the staff. Overall, my recent appointment went smoothly, although I was quite upset to learn that Valley Animal Hospital no longer offers weekend hours, which limited my options for urgent care. Unfortunately, my beloved Syrax passed away the next day. What initially seemed to be a mild stomach bug rapidly worsened, leading to fluid accumulation around her heart. I had to take her to Taylor Hospital for the help she needed. 💔

I’ve been taking my dog here since she was a puppy, then I switched vets. I’ve had issues with getting her nails trimmed by anyone or anyplace. I just recently brought my dog for boarding for 3 days and they were able to trim her nails and they did so good!!! They also sent me pictures of her while I was gone and I loved that so much!

We have had such a wonderful experience with the most amazing team here! We truly could have not made it through this cancer journey without you all. We appreciate you giving Brooks the best care and love. We recognize all that you do and appreciate you.

I recently had my two-and-a-half-year-old Rottweiler neutered at Valley Animal Hospital of Merced, and I’m very pleased with the experience. The process was straightforward to set up, and the staff was friendly and professional. They did an excellent job with the procedure, and my dog recovered smoothly. The cost was reasonable, especially for the quality of care provided. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy care for their pets.

Dr. Sheffield has been helping me navigate my dog’s diabetes care and she has been absolutely fantastic. She is super knowledgeable and has gone way above and beyond to check in and monitor his progress as we adjust his insulin doses. The clinic staff is very quick to answer calls, and respond to prescription needs as well. So grateful I moved my dog to this practice!!

I love VAH! The girls Callie and Amanda are always so sweet at the front desk. Dr. Sheffield and staff are helpful and take their time with my babies in appointments. I will always recommend them for the best care
