Have had nothing but good experiences here. Even when our senior cat was not doing well, they were kind and tried to help him the best they could. We had a horrible experience at another vet and ask that they keep our pets in the room with us and they have always been accommodating of this! We still bring our other cat and our new fur baby here! Very friendly and helpful. We trust them! They’re honest and upfront about pricing, as well.

Horrible experience at this location for my mother as well as my 5-year-old golden doodle Wrangler!!! Ana the assistant and Melissa the front desk representative provided horrible customer service. Their attitude was very nasty, unprofessional and lacked simple customer service skills. I will not be returning to this location with my fur baby in the future based on the service they provided. We were forced to sedate my fur baby twice in order to receive immunizations as there were several missing from his record that should have been completed the first day. Will not be returning. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!

I had a great experience at VCA Animal Hospitals when I took my dog ​​, Maia, for a consultation. She received excellent care from the staff. Ana Gadea, the assistant, was very professional, kind, and attentive. Dr. Jan Merchan and Dr. Mary McTague were excellent—professional, experienced, and very caring with Maia. They took the time to explain everything clearly. The clinic offers services in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. I really appreciated being able to communicate in Portuguese, my native language. It made the visit much more comfortable. I am very grateful for the excellent service and highly recommend this clinic.

What an extraordinary experience we had at VCA Terrell Mill Animal Hospital on May 7, 2026! I had the pleasure of taking Gia and George to meet the remarkable vet, Brian Chappell, and his exceptional team. Their kindness, patience, and understanding truly shone through, making a significant difference in our visit. Having recently relocated to Marietta in April, my furry friends were facing immense anxiety, but the compassion and empathy shown by the entire staff helped alleviate their fears. This visit marked their inaugural experience on a leash, and I couldn't be prouder, especially with Gia's remarkable progress! Although she didn't quite hit it off with the vet and assistant, displaying behavior that left much to be desired 😞, the love, care, and dedication exhibited by everyone in the office transformed what could have been a traumatic experience into a truly uplifting one. I'm deeply grateful for the outstanding care and warmth received from each and every team member.

Very friendly staff eager to bond with you and your pet. Extremely good at reminding patients when their appointment is and with whom. The atmosphere in the lobby is calm and comforting, with benches for animals to sit next to their humans. Doctors are professional and courteous to owners, being sure to answer all questions we might have (no matter how small). Thank you VCA Terrell Mill! Lilith and I love you

DO NOT RECOMMEND! They care MORE about scheduling appointments back to back to make more money rather than giving the proper care for our animals. I’ve been going to VCA Animal Hospital for years—even after moving far away—just to keep my pet’s records consistent. Today, my pet was vomiting and I was only 14 minutes late due to a car crash in front of me. Despite the emergency, Melissa at the front desk was rude, unhelpful, and wasted even more time doing nothing. After another 10 minutes, they coldly refused care. No compassion, no urgency—just a blatant lack of concern for my pet’s health. It’s clear VCA cares more about money than the animals they’re supposed to protect. I’ll never trust them again.

I had the best exam for my newly adopted dog with Dr. Brian Chappell today, literally the most compassionate and kind vet, so thorough and he had read her long shelter medical history and examined her with such attention and was so good with her that she gave him kisses! He is very informed and I would consider making this my regular vet for my other dogs after this experience! Also, the front desk woman was so nice and it was a quick and efficient visit.
