I cannot recommend Dr Elm and her staff enough. From the intimacy of the care from start to finish, the level of care that they all have for their patients is admirable, and just the whole atmosphere of the facility. They went ABOVE and beyond caring for my 7 year old cat who was in for a urinary blockage who turned out to have lung cancer ( we think) and ultimately had to be put to sleep. Dr Elm stayed after hours (until 9pm) with my baby until she felt comfortable leaving him, then called me to give me an update on him. I was able to visit him whenever I wanted, and was able to stay how long I needed. Jen also stayed with him after hours once she noticed he was declining, and once again Dr Elm called me and said she was making the hour drive back to the facility and requested I meet her there. I was able to spend quality one on one time with my baby before putting him to sleep and was met with nothing but the purest sympathy and support from Dr Elm and Jen. Though it wasn’t the outcome we wished for, I would 10000% bring my baby back there. I truly cannot express the gratitude I have for Dr Elm. 10/10 recommend. Below is a photo of my baby boy Sol🤍

I'm always hesitant to give 5 stars to places, but this time I think its warranted. The Doctor and Techs over at The Cat Hospital were an astounding shoulder to lean on when it came to my cat's emergency medical needs. The care was informative and comprehensive, but without trying to look down or demean me for not being fully aware of what was going on. They never tried to paint me as some sort of awful person for being unaware of optimal ways to care for my cat's basic needs and helped me learn better alternatives. We didn't have a happy ending, but that's life. If it weren't for the folks at The Cat Hospital her life would have been cut even shorter. Filled with suffering. The care they provided was nothing short of top notch and hands on care given to my Sasquatch still touches my heart when I think about it. While I must say the primary doctor here can be a little rough. It never comes off as offensive. She's an incredibly skilled woman who is dedicated to her career and gave me incredible hands on knowledge. All I can say is thank you.

I absolutely love this vets office! They do everything they can to make things affordable and the staff are so lovely! I moved to gardiner and even though there are multiple vets closer to me I make sure to stick with them because of how wonderful they have been with my and my cats! Absolutely can not recommend more! 10/10!!!

An absolutely wonderful experience with both the hospital/vet as well as the boarding. I brought Mighty Melvin here for almost 10 years for both services. Dr. Elms and the vet team were terrific, including managing his diabetes, chronic UTI's and various other maladies. He made it 18 years, and the Cat Hospital is a big part of it. The boarding is also terrific. I travel a lot, and never felt bad about leaving my friend with them. In fact, it got to the point where he hopped out of his carrier and walked around like he owned the place. Nice, large multi level "condos," very clean, and the best care. Honestly, it is so nice to have a veterinary and boarding facility in one place, and dedicated exclusively to cats. Thanks to you all, Mighty and I are so grateful!!

Amazing experience today. It's been hard finding a vet for my cat and this place was able to see her right away. Not just that, everyone on staff was great, the doctor had so much knowledge on how to help my cat who has had some heath issues. Even though we couldn't figure out exactly what was the matter she made sure everything was done to get her back to feeling better. Best part for me she spoke Spanish! Big deal for me!

5* review isn't enough to express how much I appreciate the love and medical care the Manchester Cat Hospital has given to not one of my cats but now a second after losing my American Bulldog Wednesday night woke up to my Luna with her neck scratched to pieces whole patch of her neck hair and her ears were nothing but scabs and after just losing my dog with no appointment they told me to come bring her that she'd have to be dropped off and then picked up today well that didn't happen this kind loving lady is the CAT WHISPERER she took care of the patients she was already caring for and then instead of making me leave her she got right to my Luna and cared for her like you'd never seen cause Luna doesn't like being manhandled or to take meds and she not only gave her the meds but then had to get body temp and after what she'd of run and hid for hours soon as this kind lady was done Luna jumped from examination table right up to her work area after all she'd just had done to her and it's an amazing thing to see this lady's connection to animals there's no other place to take your fur babies for emergencies or just their health upkeep and from the bottom of my heart I appreciate the love and care the Cat Whisperer has given to my Luna and my Midnite. You want love and caring for your fur babies and want the best in services and care THE MANCHESTER CAT HOSPITAL IS THE ONLY PLACE TO GO!!

I honestly never leave a bad review but I cannot stop thinking about my visit here first off the tech and receptionist was very nice that’s the only positive she recognized my cats were nervous did and excellent nail trim and treated me with kindness she even gave me a discount for the wait which didn’t bother me at all. the issue is with the doctor. I am absolutely appalled at the way my cats treated yesterday. To preface, have two cats that I just adopted from the shelter one of them had a sneeze and little eye goop that I was concerned about the other seemed okay but I just wanted to get them established and have them get a general check up. To start the room is very dirty The vet then walks into the room with a large bowl of wet food a bunch of medicine and two huge chunks of cured beef. She did not greet me she just threw the bowl on the ground and started yelling about me feeding my cats dry food. I tried to explain that they just came from the shelter and there they get dry in the morning and wet at night. I didn’t want to change their routine too much because they are very nervous cats. It was like talking to a wall! I tried to explain my cats were very nervous and she goes "no they aren’t they are eating right in front of me" and the proceeds to grab my cat while she’s eating and my cat obviously runs away. My cats may be scared but neither of them bit scratched or hissed the whole visit despite being treated aggressively. She grabbed them as if they were feral. Once she saw they were scared she came back with a list and said you need to go to the store and get this list of products for anxiety now. I tried to explain they are nervous because they just came from the shelter they have already changed so much just in one week Yet again she just talked over me. Like I had mention one of my cats had a sneeze and a runny nose I tried to explain that she’s had it for over two weeks and she just got out of the shelter and it’s already improving. Without examining my cat she tells me all these meds I need to give them. I try to make sense of what she’s saying but I’m very confused. Thankfully the very sweet tech explained a little better and she was very understanding. The vet said she’d just give the first dose to each cat now. I explained that only one of them had symptoms but again she just kept talking over me and had no interest in the history of my cats. Maybe they did both need it, I’m not a vet but the lack of communication was overwhelming and really stressful. She then wiped butter all over my cats mouth and shoved a pill down her throat even tho I explained that my cat would take a pill in wet food. Because the vet had butter all over her hands the pill stuck to her finger and she got frustrated with my cat saying "well she won’t take it we will have to use the pill injector". She proceeds to shove the injection down her throat. And then tried to do the same to my other cat and when he wouldn’t take the meds she got frustrated and "went just give it to him yourself" She acted as if I had the worlds most feral cats. They also put pheromone collars on my cat. They did NOT ask they just did. I felt like I was being backed into a corner and couldn’t speak up for me or my cats. I asked if the collars were safe and kept explaining that my cats play really rough and I didn’t want the collars to get caught on things. When we got home my cats were trying to get the collars off. One of my cats got it stuck in his mouth like a horse bit and was choking and couldn’t get it out of his mouth. These are cats that are extremely nervous and now they are back to square one after this treatment. I really should have read the reviews before coming here. I called a friend after my visit and they almost had the same exact experience as me. thankfully I didn’t have to pay very much for my visit and again the tech/receptionist was amazing this has nothing to do with her. Feeling really guilty for bringing my poor cats here hoping someone can read this and take warning before visiting this place.
