Animal Emergency & Critical Care of Lynchburg

Tonight was our 5th visit here and we continue to have great experiences. We have had a heart breaking diagnosis for our sweet 10 year old golden shepherd and the vet was so kind and took her time answering all of our questions. Sadly, we had to bring our same pup back and had our final moments with him there. Everyone was so kind and empathetic and let me be with and love on my baby boy through it all. We had 3 other minor issues with our Irish Wolfhound pups involving peni that would not retract. In all situations we were seen as quickly as possible and had kind and caring care from the vet techs and vets. No one wants to go to an ER vet, but I have peace of mind knowing I am able to get my fur babies' needs taken care of at all hours of the day by kind and caring staff who have loved on and cared for our babies during their pain and ours. Thank you Dr. Baker and staff for your service!! Our family appreciates you all so very much!!

I discovered that my cat ate some lilies and was immediately able to get her in when I called! The staff was very understanding and quickly worked on her to keep any harm from progressing. They let me see her after they induced vomiting and let me stop by later with her bed and food when she wasn’t wanting to eat back in the ICU. Thankfully she was able to come home in 24 hours and is back to her normal self! They were very helpful with giving updates along the way and followed up a couple of days afterwards to see how she was doing. It obviously was not a cheap bill but I expected it to be the same anywhere else or more based on the care that she needed to receive. I would definitely take her here again if anything were to happen!

I would like to thank the doctor and staff for their help in nursing my 16 year old man Luke back to good health after coming in with a serious upper respiratory infection! I'm relieved to say he's finally back to his old self and I couldn't be happier! So glad we have this service available to us in our time of need!

Y’all saved my kitty, thank you! We were seen quickly on a weekday morning. We got lucky - were the only ones there, and Peaches was accurately diagnosed and promptly given medication. Yes it is pricey, but it’s an emergency vet that you can walk into at any time and get the care your pet needs for urgent situations. Peaches is officially pneumonia / sepsis - free and back to her normal self. Thank you!!!!

So caring! They told me when I called I would have a wait, and I did, but they took such good care of my pet, the wait was worth it. They were gentle with me too, and appreciative of my patience, even while I worried about him. They contacted my regular vet (who called me within 2 days for follow-up care). I'd never had that courtesy from an emergency vet before. Truly grateful for them!

Dr. Serocki and the techs were wonderful. Brought my dog in and was fortunate to be seen and discharged in 2 hours. They may have had a lighter day but I felt lucky! They were kind and explained everything I needed to know for my pup. I’d recommend them every time in an animal emergency. Thank you Dr. Serocki!

I had a great experience at Animal Emergency & Critical Care of Lynchburg. Even though we were there for about three hours, the staff treated everyone as quickly as possible and with so much care. My cat had a wound where his neuter was done, and it formed an abscess/ ripped open, The original vet i originally went to didn’t handle the surgery accurate from what i believe now. The team here was amazing!!! They cleaned and stitched the wound, explained everything clearly, and made sure he was comfortable. I’m so thankful they were able to help him and fix what another vet couldn’t. Everyone was kind, professional, and truly cared about my cat’s well-being. Highly recommend! Pretty reasonable price for an emergency, especially on a Sunday. Thank you for saving my Hercules ❤️
