I inquired about Companion Vet clinic because I had 2 emergency situations with my cats. She got them in sooner than my own Vet clinic could. She treated my first cat for respiratory infection and she recovered great. The second visit was for my 16 year old cat. She prescribed antibiotics, pain meds and IV solution. Unfortunately we couldn't do anything more for my baby girl Trixie. She helped us euthanize her safely and humanely. We appreciated her efforts in both situations. She was compassionate and thorough to both of my cats. She cared more than my regular vet clinic. She even stays in after 5 or 6 pm if you need her. She will work all weekend when people need her. Thank you!
Exceptional care from a doc who relates to companion animals and humans so well and kindly! Prices are very good, that plus the care touch makes our vet visits at no stress, thankful for this great clinic and staff.
The ladies at the front counter was very disrespectful. 3 to 4 to me and my niece, and then the lady at the front desk with short hair asked me if we had a problem and I said, yeah, your attitude, so we left not very nice people that work there. I advise you not to take your animals there. They could probably be abusing your animals too. Please , I recommend you not going there very disrespectful and it smelled like cat urine , really bad
They take care of my baby 💯❤️❤️
Dr Smith is very compassionate caring I would say the only downfall would be it's not technology ready cash or checks only in the world we live in that is kind of hard to do but it's worth going out of the way to your bank to get cash she's one of the sweetest veterinarians I have ever met
I debated on writing a review. However, I was BIT by FLEAS while sitting in this waiting room an hour plus past my appointment, and no one even returned my call to tell me if the outdoor Pitbulls that were in the office sitting next to me were the culprits. My first red flag should have been the sign about fleas in the office.I have never seen a flea sign at any vet I have been to. This office needs to be shut down. It is unhygienic, plastic bags and debris, fill the area where the vet is supposed to WASH their hands between clients. Vials with USED NEEDLES laying about. There's also no computer?!!?! In 2025, there's no computer. How the heck are they keeping track of any vaccines that are administered or Rabies for that matter? It's simple. They aren't. Nothing about this place is professional. She needs to retire or stop overbooking herself to the point where the place is in such disarray and unkempt. I didn't think anything was cheap about this place either. $38 for a vaccine is the same price as petsmart, or my vet in Huntley.
Had to make the hard decision to put our almost 12 year old 120lbs+ dog down. I called multiple vets in the area, and no one would see us until I called here. I called and spoke with the vet about what we needed done and why, her only request was that I had someone carry him in and out once it was done which was not a problem and I honestly expected that from any place with such a big dog. I showed up for our appointment and got all needed paperwork filled out and the fee paid before hand. They made the process simple and easier for us, once we got him on the table it was done quickly and we were able to take him home to his final resting place. Without their kindness he would have suffered until I could find somewhere to get him in. He was not a patient of theirs but they knew we needed help and stepped up to help us in our desperate time of need.
