Dr. Kim at Shatto Ceterinary Center is taking care of my 2 cats Walter & Wyatt. Both my cats have serious illness. Walter has an enlarged heart and Wyatt has asthma. Both of my cats are doing well

I’ve been coming to Shatto 6 years now and it’s always been a great experience. Even in the middle of the pandemic they have always made me and Hermes (my cat) feel welcomed and at ease. Friendly and knowledgeable staff is what makes us come back every year. I recommend them 100%.

Everyone was very nice to me and my dog. The floor is cold so don’t forget to bring a mat for your dog to lie down on in the waiting room. I did not have a mat so I used my jacket but the floor is very clean. The doctors and technicians are very professional, especially Dr. Ta. They made sure to ask about travel timelines so that you understand how long the titer test is valid for, even though it is not their responsibility to help you keep track of patients’ own travel plans or make sure you have all of the necessary paperwork. The gentleman sitting at the front desk even told me that the human’s name on the health certificate will have to match the name on the passport, so if you have dual citizenship and the name of your second passport is in another language, this is VERY important to know. I was very pleased with the service. Parking was free and extremely convenient.

The staff are friendly from the moment you walk in, the Vet is very respectful, listen to one's concerns. I have been coming to this Vet for years and will continue and I seen other but nothing compare to this Vet and location...

Great staff! We had a friendly and polite vet named David. My dog liked him! They gave her updated shots along with diagnosing her rash, and we were in and out within an hour. We'll definitely be coming back with my other pets.

I scheduled an appointment for my cat end of January to which I got a call a few hours before the time of my appointment from this vet that they will need to reschedule due to the doctor leaving early. I tried to call them back to reschedule but got no answer even after leaving a voicemail no call back. I then rescheduled on their website for the earliest appointment which was end of February to which again, same day, got a call from this vet that the Dr is leaving early and I will need to reschedule. I called and left a voicemail, waited 24-48 business hours with no response. Called again and was told I had to wait another month for another appointment. How this place is operational is beyond me.

I brought my cat in for a routine vaccination. My cat had no visible symptoms and appeared completely healthy. The clinic recommended additional blood and urine testing, and I agreed. During the blood draw, I was suddenly told that my cat was having difficulty breathing. An oxygen mask was placed on him, and shortly afterward he went into cardiac arrest. CPR and emergency measures were performed, but he passed away at the clinic. I understand that unexpected medical emergencies can occur. However, what made this experience even more traumatic was how it was handled. The manager asked me to leave the treatment area without offering any apology or empathy, and the communication felt dismissive and cold during an extremely devastating moment. When I asked questions about what happened, I was told that they "did not know," which left me with significant unanswered concerns. Pet owners deserve clear communication, compassion, and transparency in situations like this.
