I found this vet by coincidence on Google, and it truly turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made for my dog. My dog had overlooked lumps in her mammary glands that unfortunately turned out to be cancerous. She required a major surgery to remove the tumors along with a sterilization procedure. It was a heavy and painful surgery, and naturally I was very worried. The doctor handled everything with professionalism, skill, and genuine care. The procedure was done correctly, and my dog recovered surprisingly quickly and smoothly. What truly stood out was the post-surgery care. The vet went above and beyond to ensure she was comfortable, received the right medications, and was able to sleep through the pain during the first critical days. I always felt informed and supported throughout the entire process. On top of that, the price was very affordable considering the complexity of the surgery. I am deeply grateful for the level of expertise and compassion shown. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a trustworthy and competent veterinarian.
Honestly this Veterinary office is amazing! My 2 year old cat had a urinary blockage, and Dr Ameis took such good care of him. It was a sudden emergency that I was not prepared for. Dr Ameis presented all of the options for care in a coherent and thoughtful way, and offered alternative solutions. We ultimately decided to have Dr Ameis remove the blockage. Dr Ameis truly cares and is incredibly understanding. I highly recommend! Prices were reasonable and Dr Ameis has been present, thoughtful, and mindful through out the entire process. The office is also very clean and the lobby is spacious. I highly recommend especially for first time pet owners, and locals! Bené is on the road to recovery from his very painful blockage. Thank you! I'm looking forward to future appointments here!
I recently had to bring both of my 10-year-old cats to the veterinarian—one for a minor tissue injury after a fall from a balcony and the other for a pea-sized lump under his armpit. Since I do not have a regular family vet, I called several local clinics, but they were either fully booked or did not seem very transparent about their services and pricing. When I contacted Paw Priority, I immediately appreciated how clear and upfront they were about the costs and what to expect during the visit. The veterinarian was friendly, honest, and focused on my cats' needs without recommending unnecessary exams or procedures. The entire experience felt trustworthy and professional. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for compassionate and transparent veterinary care. Most importantly, my boys are doing much better now.
I noticed a new lump on my 3.5 year old chihuahua’s back which was concerning. After days of researching reliable and honest vet reviews. I finally found Paw Priority and I’m so happy I did! Dr. Ezra Ameis was wonderful. Very kind and gentle with my Pup, I could tell she trusted him too. He answered all my questions and concerns. I can tell he’s genuine and loves caring for animals. He saved me money and put my concerns to rest. The staff was also very kind and warm. It’s hard to find vets or drs that are trustworthy these days. My dog and I highly recommend Paw Priority!
When my dog ate mushrooms in a neighbor’s yard, I called Paw Priority due to the glowing reviews. The entire experience — from my initial phone conversation with the front desk to Dr. Ameis’ follow-ups after our visit to the clinic — exceeded all expectations. My dog was seen and treated immediately upon arrival, and Dr. Ameis and his team were incredibly thoughtful, helpful, professional, and efficient throughout our visit. I have taken my dog to a handful of carefully selected vets over the years, and none of them hold a candle to Dr. Ameis’ patient-centered approach and empathetic care.
My cat, Blossom, had an unexpected medical emergency last night, and after calling Paw Priority, they were immediately able to accommodate her. I brought her in right before closing time, and they still treated her as a top priority (no pun intended.) They provided prompt, loving care & were able to get her all fixed up (despite her misdirected spiciness with Dr. Ameis.) They did not push for anything unnecessary and gave helpful insights into what treatments were and were not necessary, providing full transparency on cost ahead of treatment. I couldn’t recommend Paw Priority enough!
Dr. Ezra J. Ameis and the staff at Paw Priority are amazing. Finding a vet that you can trust is tough -especially these days where you're a sales target from the moment you walk in the door. We brought our puppy chihuahua to Dr. Ameis yesterday and couldn't have had a better experience. The entire staff is amazing, friendly, helpful and honest. We're excited to have found our vet and highly recommend Paw Priority!! THANK YOU!!
