Where to begin? There are so many incredible things I have to say about Dr. Kunic and the entire staff at TrueHeal Veterinary Hospital. One of my girls (kitties) was experiencing some repetitive sneezing. I decided to monitor her for the last few weeks. I assumed it may be related to a previous bronchitis flare up or that it may have something to do with it being winter (dry air, dust, colder temperatures, more HVAC run time, etc). TrueHeal was able to get me an appointment within three days (they offered the very next day but I had scheduling conflicts). The office staff are so kind, polite and patient - no matter how many questions I asked. Dr. Kunic took his time getting to know my girl Lily, her habits, past medical history and as a concerned mother (lol) I was so impressed and grateful that he examined her head to tail and didn’t miss a spot. Dr. Kunic and the staff at TrueHeal offer the most heartfelt healthcare for each fur baby that enters their doors. I did not feel rushed once and was even greeted with compassion and understanding when I called only 45 mins after leaving to ask for the medication information again. Overall if I could leave a 25 star review I would. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - Sincerely, a relieved fur mama. We live in the Port Huron area and drive over 100 miles round-trip to bring our dogs here. The entire staff is amazing... they go above and beyond to ensure our dogs are comfortable and well cared for from the moment we are greeted at the front door until we head back home. They truly love animals, and they are very passionate. Dr. Kunic is awesome, doesn't rush explaining his diagnosis, treatment suggestions, and is honest! Well worth our drive.

Dr. Kunic is the best vet I’ve ever been to. I’m a rescuer, so going to the vet is a regular occurrence. He genuinely cares for the animals and their owners. It shows in his work. A few months ago, I lost one of my rescue kittens and the staff sent me a sympathy card. It was so thoughtful and I’ve never had a vet do that for me at all. I’ve never recommended a vet to anyone before I went to True Heal. Now they are the only place that I recommend. Don’t hesitate to bring your furry family member here. They will be in the best hands.

Doctor Kunic and his team are amazing. They have done a great job caring for my senior cat. He has had vaccines and a dental procedure there. They truly care about your pet and it shows.

Dr. Kunic is very knowledgeable and patient. Communicates clearly without hiding behind medical terms, and performed a thorough physical exam for my cat, Lily. Dr. Kunic asked many questions before he reach any conclusions. He explained his findings in great detail and recommended the next steps for treatment in plain language that I can actually understand and act on. His assistants and front desck lady are very pleasant and companionate.

I brought my two dogs here today for their appointments and I was blown away! They were busy, but we were put in a room right away and did not have to wait long. The entire staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Kunic did a phenomenal job with both of them. One of my dogs can be quite anxious, but he got down on the floor with her and took his time to make sure she was comfortable. He performed a full body exam on each of them and was thorough in asking questions about their history. His bedside manner is excellent. The price was VERY reasonable, and both the waiting area and exam room were very clean. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to everyone and anyone.

My Shih-poo, Capone, developed a corneal ulcer and was in EXTREME pain (first two pics)!!! Dr. Kunic expressed the urgency of care, stressing the importance of administering the prescribed medications as instructed in order for his eye to properly heal. Dr. Kunic even took the time to call a few days later to check up on my fur-baby, and informed me to return sooner than the scheduled follow-up if there was no improvement with his condition. We return for the two week f/u tomorrow, and I'm so happy to report that he seems back to normal (last pic). Dr. Kunic and Staff are ALWAYS extremely kind and friendly, and you can feel the love they naturally have for animals. I'm so grateful for TrueHeal Veterinary Hospital.... THANK YOU 🤗🐶❤️
