I could go on and on about how amazing Peak is. I took both my babies there. Recently my senior cocker spaniel passed away and there was no other place I would have rather it happened. The staff there brings me so much comfort and made me feel like my little old guy was in the best hands possible in his last moments. I still currently take my puppy to peak and he gets the best care ever. I can not recommend Peak enough. The amazing love and care the animals are shown here is exactly what our fur babies deserve.

Peak Veterinary Hospital has been incredible to work with. Dr. Annie took excellent care of our Annie during her tumor removal surgery and followed up afterward with a personal phone call to make sure her healing was right on track. That extra level of attention meant so much to us. She’s also been wonderful with our other dogs, Lucy and Snoop, and we always feel confident bringing them in. It’s a gift to have such a great veterinarian here in Roxborough Park and so close to home. We’re grateful for the care, compassion, and professionalism every time we visit.

I had the best experience at Peak Veterinary Hospital. From the moment i walked in, the front desk staff was so welcoming and helpful. The vet techs were patient, knowledgeable, and great with both of my dogs. One of my dogs can be a little difficult to handle at times, but they were so calm and understanding with her, which I really appreciated. The veterinarian and team took the time to answer every question I had (and I had a lot lol) and made sure I left the appointment feeling confident and happy with the care my dogs received. I was so satisfied with the visit that I scheduled both of my dogs’ dental cleanings before I left. I highly recommend this vet office to anyone looking for compassionate and thorough care for their pets!

Our cat Effie was diagnosed with a potentially lethal Feline Injection Site Sarcoma (FISS). It necessitated the amputation of her rear leg. Dr Annie did a stellar job on the surgery two weeks ago today. I just want to thank the entire staff for their care of not only our fur baby Effie , giving her the best chance at long term survival, and the support they gave us as very anxious pet parents . I hope I never need this kind of service again, but I’m grateful we came here for help. Also, if you’ve ever debated on whether pet insurance is worth it, it is. We didn’t have to worry about that while trying to do the best for Effie. Photos from two weeks ago post op, and today learning our new normal.

I recently moved to the area and needed to find a new vet for my 2 cats. A quick google search led me to Peak Veterinary Hospital, right around the corner from my house and with excellent reviews - perfect! I’ll echo what everyone else is saying: Dr. Lorenzen and her staff are all so wonderful and kind! I felt very welcomed and could tell Ellie was in good hands. She was in for her annual exam and vaccines, and we’ll definitely be back with our other cat when his exam is due.

Dr. Annie Lorenzen and the team at Peak Veterinary Hospital truly saved my dog’s life. After my 12½-year-old rescue dog, Paisley, ate corn husks, we were told by the walk-in emergency vet that she needed immediate surgery costing around $9,000—with no guarantee she would survive. Feeling overwhelmed, I contacted my regular vet, who referred me to Peak Veterinary Hospital. From the moment I called, Peak treated us with compassion and urgency. They got Paisley in the very next morning, performed surgery that same day, and she was able to come home that afternoon. The surgery was successful, and the cost was significantly more reasonable. What stood out just as much as the medical care was the follow-up. Dr. Annie personally checked on Paisley multiple times, and the staff stayed in close contact with me throughout her recovery. Today, Paisley is doing great—no cone, no restrictions—and I am beyond grateful. Peak Veterinary Hospital combines expert care with genuine compassion, and I cannot recommend them highly enough

We love it here! The staff is friendly and helpful and took wonderful care of our furbabies. We brought them here for a second opinion, because we knew something was going on with our pup and they got us solid answers with our first round of testing and helped us make a clear plan to move forward. No guess and check, they know their stuff.
