10/10 would recommend!!!! Ethan, Sydney and Chase helped me out so well with my little baby boo boo bear named lucky they saved his life! I’m forever grateful for these young souls.
Veterinary Center of Liberty was absolutely amazing with my leash/dog reactive dog! I usually have a mobile veterinary come to the house, because of how chaotic my husky can get. Unfortunately, my usual vet is unavailable for an unknown period of time. He recommended that I go to vet center of Liberty. I called to schedule the appointment, and let them know of my Husky's reactivity and it was one of the doctors who answered the phone, scheduled the appointment, and left notes in the profile. When I showed up, the front desk confirmed I had the reactive boy. They cleared their lobby of the dogs that were checking in for boarding right when they opened for the day. The staff came outside to let me know they were ready. They weighed my dog, and got us immediately to an exam room. They even provided me a soft muzzle upon request. It was a great experience for me and my dog. I really can't recommend this place enough.
I’ve had multiple great experiences here. We love that they do grooming, boarding on top of being a full veterinary clinic. Thanks for taking such good care of our pets.
I’d give negative stars if possible. THEY RECOMMENDED EUTHANASIA BASED ON A ABBREVIATED ULTRASOUND. Our dog went in for an emergency checkup, we were told she had a tumor on the heart and would need to be put down that day or later that week after an abbreviated ultrasound. When the vet we planned to have do the euthanasia arrived, he said she didn’t look unwell enough to be put down, and upon an actual ultrasound, we discovered she had mild blunt force trauma to the chest. This clinic recommended we euthanize our dog based on a false diagnosis because they didn’t conduct the appropriate scans.
Update 1.2026: Dr Glenn deserves Sainthood status. Also Jan and all the amazingly kind vet Techs. Biggest hearts in the business. I can't say enough good things about Dr Glenn and the entire staff at the Vet Center of Liberty. Dr Glenn has been taking care of our dog and two cats for 15 years now. We moved to Overland Park 10 years ago and we still drive up to see Dr Glenn. They take such good care of our animals, and are so kind and caring while doing so. They truly care about animals. I trust them completely and they have never let us down. Thank you all for what you do.
I can’t believe I haven’t submitted a review before now. We will be customers for as long as we live in the kc area. Dr. Grow and her team saved my Bernie’s life after a horrible pitbull attack on 3/6/23. He was dragged from under our fence into a neighbors yard and his neck was ripped ear to ear. We rushed in with no appointment and they got him back to surgery immediately. They allowed for animal control to come in and take photos to hold the other dog’s owner accountable. They stitched him back up and gave us plenty of instructions for follow up care. The bill was reasonable for what he needed. He had two drains, one of which came out too early. They had him come in and removed the remaining piece with no charge, and removed his ~40 stitches a week later. My boy is as good as new and I’m so thankful for Vet Center of Liberty! They’ve also seen my other dog and my cat now, and I have no plans of going elsewhere.
We had two very different experiences with this clinic, and unfortunately the second one showed us their true colors. When we adopted a rescue dog from the shelter, the staff were extremely friendly and encouraged us to purchase extra services and add-ons, which we did. Later, when we brought in our purebred Shar-Pei (who came from a breeder and was fully vaccinated except for rabies due to age), the treatment we received completely changed. Our Shar-Pei suffers from Shar-Pei fever and was very sick at the time. Instead of showing compassion or urgency, the clinic refused to perform additional diagnostics like bloodwork or urine testing unless we paid hundreds more on top of what we had already spent. At that moment, we could not afford over $1,000 in care, only about half of that — and because of that, our dog was left to suffer with a severe, chronic ear infection. We followed their instructions, purchased the drops, and did everything we were told, yet the infection never resolved. Four weeks later, we took her to another animal clinic where the staff showed genuine care and compassion. They ultimately performed ear surgery and worked with us, prioritizing our dog’s health rather than treating us like a transaction. This clinic felt corporate-driven and money-focused, with very little empathy once we were no longer the "ideal" rescue-dog clients. Helping animals should never come with judgment or a lack of compassion based on where the dog came from or how much money an owner has at that moment. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend this clinic. I just wanna add at the time we were in such distress and panicking and had no idea of anywhere to take her. We had already been using this veterinary Clinic. established patients ECT.so this was very not okay!
