Great veterinarian and staff!! They cleaned both of my dogs teeth, give thorough, honest and good advice. I like that they do a pre-test of the anesthesia to make sure your dog does not have a reaction. This made me feel comfortable for them to be sedated. He is very knowledgeable and wants to give your dogs the best care. I really trust this clinic to give my babies the best care and keep them as healthy as possible throughout their life.

I took my 2 cats there for basic checkups because I was on a budget. The Dr.kept pushing for expensive tests despite telling multiple times not now and not interested but never said anything about rabies shots. Also, I cancelled an appointment at another vet because I wouldn't of been able to go in the back with my cats since I had recently gotten them and I wanted to be there to try and keep them calm and Hergenrether allowed me. However, once we went into the room the cats were taken and I didn't see them until the end when it was time to leave. They even told me that my female had gone crazy running around and they had to catch her! Also, I think my cats might have gotten fleas there. Neither cat had them before and both had them shortly after.

If I could I would give this 10 stars. I had dr. Underwood for my cat today &' unfortunately there wasn't much we could do. He sat &' talked me through all of my options, when I chose my option which was to put my cat to sleep because I didn't want her to suffer. He talked me through the entire thing. Once it was over he told me that this is the hardest part of his job &' he has to find the light in every situation, he said in my situation my girl was no longer suffering. She was happy &' running around with all the other cats, told me she had all the food &' water she could want. Told me a few times that it wasn't my fault told me not to go home &' blame myself because her situation was unavoidable &' it had come on insanely fast. You can tell the differences between the ones who do it for the money &' the ones that are passionate about their job. Dr. Underwood was beyond compassionate. Me &' my husband have found our vet. We thank you for what you did do &' how much you cared💙 recommend this place 100%

We just love Dr. Hergenrether, Dr. Underwood and their staff! They have been taking care of our two furbaby kitties for many years now and they are always so attentive and knowledgeable. We feel very secure in letting them care for our furry family members. Whether keeping us posted with calls after a procedure or follow-up calls after we bring them home, we KNOW they have the best interest of our pets in mind and we are very grateful for the services they provide for our community. My dog kept throwing up tapeworm medicine and rather than observing the dog/giving anti-vomiting medication we were told we would still pay full price for a 3rd attempt at giving our dog that medication. Disappointed in their approach. Have since found a vet clinic that has won me over.

After dealing with an injury to my dog while in the care of lawton veterinarian hospital, we were advised by a family friend to come to Hergenrether. They not only solved my dog’a initial issue but dealt with the injury that occurred at LVH. Very clean facility, great customer service, and expert veterinarian services.

I love that the Dr. and staff genuinely care about my pet. I am very picky about my new puppy and they are always able to answer my questions and make me feel at ease while my pet is there.
