What a wonderful office. Very all creatures great and small and that is a high compliment! The staff was amazing. So kind, I could tell they cared. Very professional interactions with all the techs. The doc was thorough and patient and explained everything so clearly. I can tell the people here love animals and enjoy their job. I really can’t say enough good things about this office and our visit. They were so wonderful, we are switching to this vet clinic!

Love this place. Dr.Underwood has taken care of three of my fur babies and even a couple of my families. One had heart failure and sadly passed but they always took such amazing care of him. I’ve had just your average visit up to an emergency visit at 1am and every time Dr.Underwood was more then understanding and always took the time for my dogs. Sabina at the front desk is hands down one of the best employees, she remembers all my dogs will always call to check on them if they had a rough visit. Devon as well, will always try to brighten the mood even what might feel like your worst day. I hear a lot of people say it’s pricy and upsell (I don’t know a vet that hasn’t tried to squeeze in a extra test or vaccine) but I truly don’t think that Dr.Underwood would suggest it if he didn’t think your animal could benefit from it. The one time I denied extra X-rays on my dog he ended up needing surgery cause he had something stuck in his belly. So to each their own but I highly suggest Dr.Underwood and his team.

wonderful clinic! found a kitten and decided to take her in a few months ago. immediately called the office for an appointment and they were so kind, understanding, and informative when giving me tips to take care of a new pet! they were even wonderful when our cat gave us a bit of a scare with a random fever. i appreciate everyone who works there and am sad to move and leave their amazing care behind :..(

I love Dr. H, but talking to receptionist is unbearable. Too much upselling by force!!!! I.e. couldn't get allergy prescription refilled because my dog "needed another exam", it had been six months. When I questioned that, I was told it might not be allergies, it might be something else. Despite the symptoms were the same (licking paws). Then she gets snotty and mentions my dog need every vaccination that is possible to give to my dog. Keep in mind by law, rabies is the only mandatory vaccine. I went back to my old vet, full of compassion and always trying to save me money. Guess what!? My dog just needed a refill and was examined. Times are hard for people, this is unacceptable to be honest.

At best, this place has very poor communication—at worst, it feels intentionally slimy and shady. My girlfriend brought in a homeless puppy we’re fostering and were charged $570 for basic vaccines and flea/tick treatment. $300 dollars was for the flea and tick medication alone. When I picked up the puppy while she was at work, I told them that cost seemed too high, to which they told me that they already spoke with my girlfriend on the phone and she had already approved the $570 quote. That was not true. She was initially quoted $800 (including X-rays) and said that it was way too high and that we are just trying to do general treatment and asked to remove xrays to lower the cost. She was never told the updated total would still be $570 and was never told that the tick and flea medication was $300. Who in their right mind charges $300 for flea and tick treatment? When I asked for a refund on the unopened medication, they refused and said it was against their policy and an FDA crime to return unopened medication. Overall, a frustrating experience, with overpriced medication and poor transparency. This medication better give this puppy superpowers. 0/10

They have ALWAYS treated my fur babies as family. All the staff is so wonderful to us and our babies. I can tell they really care about the welfare of their patients. I highly recommend Hergenrether Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a caring loving atmosphere for their pets to be treated!
