Animal Hospital of Lawrence

Being able to rely on a vet clinic that TRULY cares about the animals and their owners has been such a blessing. I've taken both my cat and dog here with absolutely no hesitation. The staff, vets and support are so kind, caring and genuine. It's not an easy choice choosing the right vet but the Animal Hospital of Lawrence goes above and beyond all expectations.

Dr. Coles takes care of our black lab mix, Ellie, who had a paw injury recently. The staff got us right in and Ellie was seen and treated. Everyone at this clinic is marvelous, kind and caring! I feel confident in Ellie's care and recommend this wonderful clinic to anyone seeking pet care!!

I've had two cats under the care of the Animal Hospital. The staff and Vets are always professional, kind, knowledgeable and take time to explain things. Even when we had to let of our sweet GiGi go, I felt their compassion and care. Our older developed diabetes and I've never had a doubt Misty gets great treatment. Cost are reasonable - comparable or less than others. I'd recommend Animal Hospital to pet owners.

I have two bad experiences with this place, They first heavily misdiagnosed my old cat, I explained the meds they had us give her weren't working and they kept with their diagnosis, didn't even ever recheck her, They claimed it was thyroid troubles, Claimed she was getting better, but she showed no signs of getting better at home, i had to put her down later on cause she got worse even with the meds, and the other vet place said IT WAS A CANCER. Then today, when we asked about walk-ins despite not seeming busy at all claimed they had no one to help us and that they were fully booked saying that we had to schedule for late monday NEXT WEEK for a possible parasite or infection. Don't take your pets here if you want them healthy.

My dog woke up with a swollen snout and clearly in pain. Dr. Coles worked him in right away and got him on an antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory, which resolved the issue very quickly. I couldn't be more grateful for the quick response, expert care, and compassion of Dr. Coles and the staff at Animal Hospital of Lawrence. Thank you so much!

We love the Lawrence Animal Hospital team! They take great care of our animals (2 dogs and 1 cat). The staff are kind and knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable.

All of the doctors and staff are truly wonderful -compassionate, knowledgeable, and always willing to take the time to answer our questions.
