I cannot say enough good things about this veterinary clinic. The veterinarian, nurses, and entire staff are incredibly sweet, kind, and genuinely caring. During a very scary time, they treated my cat with such gentleness and compassion, truly going above and beyond to help her. Because of them, she is feeling better today—and they truly saved her life. Every single person made a difference, from the vet to the nurses to the front desk staff. It means so much to have a team that listens, explains, and is willing to go the extra mile with patience and heart. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals and the people who love them. I am endlessly grateful for their dedication, compassion, and skill, and I would trust them again without hesitation.

Dr. Zanneti is no longer working there which is a relief because He was very cold to me about the health of my elderly chihuahua. I started seeing Dr. Adler (the owner) who is a compassionate vet. He truly cares about animals. Helped me making my dog comfortable to avoid surgery at age 15 to live a little longer. I’m so glad that He bought the practice because I’ve been a customer for 5 years. This place had a rough start, making customers feel that they just want make money with us but Dr. Adler is changing his practice for better.

They immediately took the cat from my car dealership when he had cut one of his little beans on a piece of metal. Now my cat is cured and happy and running around again. I would have paid $10,000 if I had too. Love you Caju ❤️

I was surprised to find out, after scheduling an appointment, that this hospital refuses to routinely neuter any male dogs. They will, however, spay female dogs routinely. When I attempted to get clarification, I was told this is a privately owned Jewish practice which is the reason they do not neuter male dogs. Technically, spaying and neutering in the Jewish culture are both prohibited so it's unclear why they're happy to spay female dogs but they refuse to neuter male dogs (unless it's an emergency only). On top of this, the website is terribly created and I'm guessing by some sort of AI function because at times the verbage doesn't even make sense. It constantly makes you re-add pets that are already within your portal. When I called to make the appointments over the phone thinking it was easier, the individual who took the call spelled both of the names incorrectly and then sent me a document to fill out. The document it turns out is supposed to be filled out by the doctor, not the client, and they knew when I scheduled the appointment that I was scheduling one of my current fosters for an initial exam and to set up a neuter. I wasn't told over the phone they do not perform routine neuters but this information was added via email later.

Something has changed. Use to be u could walk in for nail trim on cats on a first come basis @ no cost. Now ur required to have an exam @ $90. Nothing wrong with the cat; just need nails cut. New owner trying to get rich/jack up prices?

I took my cat, Dixie, in because she was leaping and could barely walk in September. We saw Dr Zanetti who told me there was no sign of a fracture and it was possibly a sprain or arthritis. Dixie went home with pain meds. On November 16th, we had to see Dr Zanetti again because Dixie wasn't eating and was having trouble using the litter box. She was diagnosed with severe constipation, received an enema and sent home with a laxative and antibiotics. On December 13th, we had to take Dixie to the emergency vet because she was very weak and still wasn't eating much. The ER vet diagnosed her with fatty liver disease and even worse, said Dixie's pelvis and hip were basically disintegrated most likely from cancer. I was told this was visible on the xrays done at Hawthorne Quality Pet Care in November. How could a ver miss something so obvious to me, a lay person with no medical training? I spent over $1800 on these 2 visits and another $3500 @ the ER vet. More important than the money, I watched Dixie suffer unnecessarily because of Dr Zanetti. Update: It's been almost 3 months and I still haven't received the call from the owner that was promised!

Scheduled this visit specifically for a rabies vaccine (second round) for my newly adopted dog and paid the required $25 deposit. The front desk was kind, but the visit went downhill from there. The vet had minimal interaction with my dog and charged $35 for a "new patient exam" that consisted of a brief gum and fur check — no ears or full physical exam. Instead of receiving the rabies vaccine, I left with a $600+ upsell estimate for flea prevention (no fleas), bloodwork, stool testing, and microchipping — and the estimate didn’t even include the rabies vaccine I came in for. This felt more like sales than care. Pet owners, proceed with caution.
