I had an amazing experience at this veterinary clinic. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making me and my family feel completely comfortable. Dr. Dowling, along with her coworkers Tiana and Shelby, did an outstanding job handling my bunny’s situation with such care and urgency. They were not only professional but also genuinely compassionate, showing great skill and dedication in every step of the treatment. They treated my bunny like their own pet and made sure I was included and informed throughout the entire process. Their attention to detail, quick response, and clear communication about the medication made me feel completely reassured. I’m so grateful to have found a place with such hardworking and caring people whom I truly trust to take excellent care of my pet.
Had a late night visit with our baby Lola. The team was amazing got straight to the point of concern. I loved the open style concept. Tabitha was friendly with both of our dogs and helped us easily check in and out.
What a wonderful experience! Modern and contemporary. We were greeted by two staff members and one was actually the Doctor. Our Maggie was covered in hives. Possibly seasonal allergies. They took great care with her. Nurses greeted her on the floor allowing for lots of sniffs. We sat in one of the alcoves. She received some medication and they asked us to wait to make sure she handled it well. It was super comfortable. Maggie got to sit on the couch/bench with me and she actually took a nap! Would bring my pet here in a heartbeat if something goes awry and can't get into my regular vet. They sent all the info over to my vet so there is a record of the visit there as well. Dr. Swire was great as well as Nurse Britiana and the rest of the crew.
An incredible team that will genuinely bend over backwards to give you and your pet the best care possible. The facility is spotless, and pets are never left wanting for anything. Their level of care rivals that of a human hospital, if not better. The open-care concept lets you see first-hand how your pet is treated. The nurses and doctors are knowledgeable, competent, and truly compassionate. And while you can’t put a price on the joy your pet brings, their pricing is more than reasonable. Lastly but most importantly, thank you to all of the staff for taking amazing care of Stormy.
I had really bad experiences at emergency vets before where I felt ignored for hours while my pup was in pain, so I was honestly scared to bring my little Bobbie in. But Dr. Julie Jones and her team made my experience completely different. They made sure Bobbie got the help he needed right away, and they took the time to answer all of my questions while I was stressed and worried. Everyone was so patient and kind with him, even when he was moving around a lot, and they never lost their cool. Bobbie is doing so much better now, and I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who helped take care of my baby. ❤️
I can’t say enough good things about VEG Animal Hospital on Rampart. From the moment we walked in, the entire team was incredibly kind, calm, and professional. They immediately gave my pet attention and made sure we felt supported the whole time. What really stood out to me is that they truly care about the animals first. There was absolutely no pressure, no unnecessary upselling, and no feeling of being "up-charged." They were transparent, honest, and focused on doing what was best for my pet and not what would cost the most. The staff does an amazing job keeping animals calm and comfortable, even in stressful situations. You can tell they genuinely love what they do. It’s rare to find a place where money clearly does not come first, compassion does. I’m so grateful for the care we received and would highly recommend VEG on Rampart to anyone looking for trustworthy, professional, and truly caring veterinary care in Las Vegas.
I want to tell you about the kindest, most compassionate Vet experience I have had in 50 years of living with pets. We are traveling with 2 elderly dogs with known medical issues. At 4 am this morning it was clear the humane thing to do was to help one of them over the rainbow bridge. My husband's dog Smokie had congestive hear failure and couldn't breath laying down anymore. I called VEG and they were kind, compassionate and able to help. We drove 2 hours into Las Vegas to get to VEG. Upon arrival they allowed me to do the intake forms and were happy to wait until my husband was ready to bring Smokie inside. They had their last walk, Smokie ate a bag of treats and we went inside to a room with soft lighting, a sofa and a white noise machine. Techs came in and put an IV catheter in Smokie's leg, helped him back in Terry's lap and told us to let them know when we were ready for the vet. 10 minutes later it was time. The Vet was kind, compassionate and efficient. She knelt on the floor, explained what would happen next, asked if we were ready, administered the medication, gave us a call button and left the room-telling us there was no rush. Smokie died in my husband's arms. He was finally relaxed and at peace. We cried, took some pictures of him and eventually left. Thank you doesn't start to cover how I feel, but it's all I can say. THANK YOU VEG STAFF!!
