My senior yorkie was up all night with gastro issues. I was able to get a morning appointment same day on a Sunday. He was seen and treated quickly and professionally. Two days later he is back to his fiesty, grumpy self. Thanks Dr. Cassandra!

We had to make a very difficult decision and put our beloved cat to sleep today. Want to leave a special thank you to the nurse Kate one more time. I met her yesterday for the first time and she spent a lot of time with me to go over possible options for our cat while being very gentle and respectful to our decision. I’m glad we picked south valley to send off Marie And thank you all to those who helped to fit us into the busy Friday schedule.

Professional service and exam. This was for an out of town urgent visit for our pup who puked multiple times in 24 hours. Was pleased with everyone from front desk staff to assistant to Dr. Martinez. Doctor could have tried selling me on doing more tests and imaging but instead gave me good assessment of the situation after a physical exam. Walked out with 2 RXs that helped get our dog back to near normal by the next day! We were able to get on our road trip and back to our home without incident. Thank you so much - and Tayto thanks you too!

Came here looking for a new Veterinarian and I believe we have found one. Our dog needed dental work, so we came, and the Vet was honest about the process, took bloodwork to ensure my dog was healthy and good for anesthesia. Consult appointment went well. The reason I am leaving four stars and not five is because on the day I came to drop my dog off for the teeth cleaning, they again asked if I wanted bloodwork completed. I said, "but I had that done last week." The tech then replied, "oh okay." Also, I was under the impression that a drop off for dental was just that, a drop off. I had to wait for 15 minutes for them to present the dental paperwork and take my dog back. Once the dental was completed I was instructed to return at 3:30pm. I did and once again waited over 30 minutes to get my dog because the invoice wasn’t ready, so I was told. Aside from these small bumps, the service is great and prices are reasonable. Just seems the right hand needs to communicate better with the left. That said, everyone who works here seemed very friendly.

The staff is so wonderful. They are friendly and so good with our dogs, lots of love and pets! The vets are so great, always give us options and lots of information. Our dogs are excited to go when we board them, which always feels good when leaving the fur babies!

We ONLY came here for the single vet who handles rodents. The vet was AMAZING. However, our last visit was an end of life visit, the OFFICE staff were told ahead of time and treated us like we were there for a fun visit. They chatted happily and never lit the "someone is saying goodbye to their loved one candle." We even had them bring in a trainee to go through our paperwork and got to learn how to fill everything out with her- we were not asked if that would be ok. I just stopped in to pick up my baby's remains, not one person acknowledged me or looked at me. I finally mumbled I'm here to pick up my deceased pet. They said ok we'll be with you in one second. Finally looked up at me and said "So you're getting them from boarding or your picking up their medication?" I had to very blatantly say "No, I'm here for her dead body." This wasn't followed up with a I'm sorry for your loss, no I'm sorry I misheard. I will NEVER recommend this place for anything other than a vet who will care for exotic pets, but I wish she would move anywhere else.

Drove 45 min to see Dr Dina even confirmed my appointment and everything with the clinic to only arrive and find out she hasn't worked here in weeks. People choose certain doctors for a reason. Then I get moved to another doctor who is not a doctor. Person coming in introduces themselves as one thing but prescription paperwork says another. Then asked why it's like that and straight out your girl said they aren't doctors yet they haven't passed their tests. They haven't passed their test? So how many times have they taken it? Oh some of them are on their last try. Tell me why I want my pet seeing 1 not a doctor and 2 someone who's failed their test multiple times. There has to be a way to turn in an unethical clinic. Dr Dina is at Valley Ranch Animal Hospital since the hospital wants to act like they don't know where she went just to keep clients; that should tell you all you need to know about this clinic.
