Lone Mountain Animal Hospital is very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and professional, and they took great care of my sugar glider. The visit felt smooth and well organized, and I appreciated how attentive they were. Overall, a great experience and a place I would trust with my pet again.
Dr. Lindsay Geiger was absolutely wonderful. I had to bring in my senior ferret, Penny, to be put to rest and Dr. Geiger was so lovely, explained everything and was very compassionate and kind. She’s in the exact right profession because it takes a special kind of person to help an animal cross while still being present and caring for the owner as well. Such an unpleasant and sad day but Dr. Geiger made it much easier.
LOVE this place. If you have a bird and are looking for an exotic vet, these guys are it. I live 3 hours away in the middle of nowhere and they are worth the drive. I’ve seen multiple different vets here and all have been so knowledgeable and kind. Great boarding services too. Thank you.
Called early morning spoke to the front desk gals who are amazing by the way, got me in so they can check out my cat Mr. Wendall. Everyone from the check-in to check out were exceptional! The doctors even explained in detail what was going to be happening and what they were recommending. This helped tremendously. All were knowledgeable! Highly recommend lone mountain animal hospital to anyone that's looking for exceptional care for their pet babies😊 Thank you Lone mountain animal hospital.
We have been using Lone Mountain since 2017. They use to be an amazing animal hospital. After today’s experience we won’t be coming back here. We brought our dog in to be put to sleep, she had gone down hill very very fast. We didn’t have an appointment, I know they offer emergency visits for an additional fee which I was fine paying for. The staff was SO rude and heartless. They acted like we were asking for them to give us their kidney, so put out because we walked in. I understand walking in maybe makes things more difficult to fit in to the days schedule but that’s what the emergency visit is for. I would have appreciated a little compassion though since we were having to put down a member of our family for over 13 years. It was just plain heartless the way they acted. 💔
My boy Guinness passed a week ago while at the Vet during an emergency visit. Devastated does not even begin to explain his loss. I cannot thank the Vets and Staff enough for their love and comfort while my heart shattered into a million pieces. When they brought me back to view him, all the staff were there and many of them cried with me, my Vet hugged me when my knees buckled. The tender care that every single staff member I encountered along the way is literally the best of humanity and I don’t know how these women at LMAH do it every day but they do. Thank you for showing up for my boy, for me and for all the animals that you give the best veterinary & compassion care to, you all are the best of the best and I am so grateful and lucky that humans like you all exist.
I'm very dissatisfied with my first visit to this clinic. I took my dog because he had been limping last week and they charged me an exaggerated amount of money for the x-rays, which I had originally said not to because I knew that the leg was not broken, but they recommended that the dog needed one, and I felt pressured to consent. They charged $150 to read the x-rays! I also requested twice to the lady Vet to check the paws because my dog had been licking them very often and they were brown and thought he needed medicine. I was in the consult not more than 15 minutes and they sent me home with anti-inflammatory and pain medication. Yesterday, they sent a text, not even a phone call like in my other vet where the follow up was excellent (the Vet retired) to tell me my dog's leg was just swollen, not broken and his bloodwork was fine. They never addressed the issue with the paws. I paid almost $800 :(. Needless to say, I will never return to this clinic.
