I had a great experience at Island Pet Hospital with my leopard gecko. Reptiles can be tricky to find knowledgeable care for, but the staff here clearly knows what they’re doing. Dr. McCluskey was patient, thorough, and took the time to explain everything in a way that made me feel confident about my daughter's leopard gecko’s treatment plan. Dr McCluskey handled the little guy gently and with real care, which meant a lot to us. We loved his energy and you can tell he has a real passion for his work. They genuinely care about exotic pets here, not just cats and dogs. The clinic was clean, organized, and professional from start to finish. If you’re looking for a vet who understands reptiles and treats your pet like family, I definitely recommend Dr. McCluskey at Island Pet Hospital!

I’ve always been skeptical with taking my dog to a vet or the groomers because with the groomers we had a terrible experience. Raider is very protective and not really nice to people he does not know. But these past 2 weeks he has been in pain so I had to get him seen. Island Pet Hospital did such an amazing job comforting Raider and making us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in the door! Dr Kara Garside was so informative and compassionate. Another concern was cost but with their deal for new customers it was not bad at all! Got my Raider some meds and he even let them trim his nails 🥰

Dr. Sean and his assistant are so thorough and knowledgeable giving you the answers you need regarding any concerns you have with your fur babies. Bijou was seen yesterday for her vaccinations. The entire staff are so patient and kind I really love 💕 going to see the Vet now. Bijou was anxious, but she was fine once they entered the room and showed her love. Thank you for such a pleasant experience at your clinic.

THANK YOU Dr McCluskey, DVM for seeing my puppies! Island Pet Hospital is outstanding in their personal care and concern for both my pups and myself. LICE- who knew?! Scary and disconcerting to think that my pups were unsanitary. No, just in communication with other infested dogs. So, easyfix and BAMM goodbye lice!! This is a very clean and efficient office with sanitized exam rooms. Baby and LambChop are welcome here.

Such a palpably kind and compassionate hospital. The front and back staff are so patient and warm. My senior puppy dog gets anxious around strangers, she came in nervous and shaking. they handled her so well and she even had a pep by the end of her visit. Dr Callahan is great, i appreciate his gentle disposition and how he and his assistant took time to listen. I also appreciate how prompt and on schedule they are, didn’t have to wait long at all unlike most places. Got checked in, updated info, had her exam, found out she needed blood work and they were able to do it same visit. We were in and out in under an hour. 💯

What a traumatic experience. Took my dog here to be seen after a dog attack. The vet treated my dog, gave us a (A )or option (B) way to go about her treatment told us to bring my dog back in two weeks. But instead she decided to call animal to me control 4 days later After she offered to take my dog home with her. If we couldn't pay For services? I truly feel that she plotted on my dog for her own gain because she wanted my dog to go home with her, why tell us to wait two weeks then? Bring her back if you were gonna call animal control four day's later, good thing When they came, my dog was doing so much better that they didn't understand why they were there. But yet, I had to give them my dog For treatment? I would not recommend nor entrust this place with your animal. They put you and your dog at risk of never returning home again. This place gets a review rating of negative 10. My dog is my service animal my anxiety is through the roof!

Our first time here. The staff was wonderful, even the customers talked how they have been coming for years and years. I am transferring my other 2 dogs to this vet. Not only close to home, they make you feel welcome. Have a seat in our lobby Dr will be right out. Have not had this in quite a while from the vet I had gone to 30+ years.
