Paws & Claws Animal Hospital

The Doctors and all the help treat the animals as if they are their own. There is usually anxiety with my cats, but they do their best to make them feel comfortable. If there are any concerns, they will get you in on short notice even if it means staying after hours.

I visited Paws & Claws Animal Hospital last week. My cat Nuka needed his annual checkup and my almost 11 year old Goldendoodle, Tyson, needed his heartworm vaccination. We had the privilege of working with Rose as our Tech. Thank you, Rose, for being so gentle and reassuring to my babies that they are safe. Nuka, aka Mr. Poopy Pants, didn’t even have an accident because I think he knew Rose was there to help him and not hurt him. He even jumped up on the desk to help her input his health history. Lol. The most precious thing was when Rose kissed him on his head. HOW SWEET!!! And then she made the extra effort to have Dr. Dawn take a quick peek at Tyson because he was acting off after a scuffle with a neighbor dog. Come to find out, he was actually injured and if it wasn’t for Rose, Tyson wouldn’t have received the meds he needed to feel better. THANK YOU ROSE!!!! I hope you know how much I appreciate what you do as your job and how you went above and beyond during our visit. You Rock, girl!!!! Kris, Tyson and Nuka Henry

We have been coming here for a couple years and truly love the environment. Scheduling an appointment or even calling to order medicines is simple. Angel is the best and we appreciate her so much. She always has a great attitude and keeps our dogs at ease. We are always happy to see her!

This has been my vet for over 10 years. Me and my pets absolutely love all the doctors and techs. Everyone is so kind and helpful and I always recommend Paws and Claws to my friends and family. Thank you for everything you do!

We love Dr. Hanusz, she is wonderful with our dogs. She takes her time with our three dogs, answers our questions thoroughly and we truly appreciate her service. Good vets are hard to come by and I feel confident and safe in Dr. Hanusz care

I’ve only been here twice, but my time here was phenomenal. My dog Junior was experiencing breathing issues and they saw him right away. They gave him oxygen and X-rays to see what the problem was. He had built up fluid in his chest pushing his lungs to the sides of his rib cage. They kept me informed on how Junior was doing and gave me options on what to do next. I decided to continue and remove the fluid and they made him very comfortable and safe during the procedure. They later found lymphoma cancer cells. They gave me time, sat on the floor with me and Junior and helped me through the toughest situation of my life. I scheduled a day for euthanasia but ended up having to do it the day after because he wasn’t sleeping. They were understanding and took us the next morning after I called. The process was as nice as it could be given the circumstances. They took care of the aftermath and gave me a paw print. I got his ashes a week later like they said and they were super gentle handing me his ashes. They helped me through such a hard time with my dog and I couldn’t be more grateful. This is the place to go to for sure. Thank you.

Each time I bring my golden doodle Piper to Paws and Claws and we get to work with Angel I am delighted! She is the absolute best- she is so sweet and helpful to me and my doggie. She is gentle with Piper and just a pleasure. Thank you Angel!!!
