The Pet Hospital of La Mesa

I had an emergency and they were able to get me in within a couple of hours from when I called. Everyone I met was very friendly from the staff up front to the doctor who helped my dog. The place was easy to find, had lots of parking and the place was very clean. They offer a free first visit exam so the costs are very reasonable! This place is definitely my new vet for my pets and I highly recommend for anyone looking!

Have been the vet for my cats for years. Good service, friendly staff and awesome docs. The price has steadily increased though, sigh.

I’m a new pet parent of a 2.5 month old puppy visiting a vet for the first time. Dr. Wang was absolutely wonderful and answered the list of overly prepared questions I brought with me. She was very kind and Eugene loved her.

I wanted to thank the staff at "The Pet Hospital of La Mesa" for helping 100 lbs English Lab Stoic. My dog had a scratch on his face that suddenly got badly infected and started to spread, I wasn't able to cure it myself anymore. They were able to see my dog when everyone else was closed and took care of the infection and prescribe medication.

They offered a free pet exam and honored that. It was easy to set an appointment and they were really nice both over the phone and in person. They made an effort to advise me on best care for my pet and I felt everything went well. It was our first time there and I hope to remain a client.

As a new patient (well, my dog), I am so happy we found them and Dr Wang! The vet tech and office staff were just as awesome. They were able to squeeze me in cause my dog was itching up a storm. Dr Wang was a pleasure and very personable. We loved her 🙂 She diagnosed and provided treatment the problem immediately without upselling us on unnecessary tests or meds. I was very happy with the bill! The place was spotless and it the first vet clinic that didn't smell. GREAT JOB. THANK YOU.

I was impressed how they treated my Kitty, Dot. They were very gentle and careful not to scare her anymore then she already was. She is very skittish. They were a thorough and told me what I needed to do and one step at a time we agreed we are going to find the best treatment for her! They honored my first time visit with Dot.
