I recently brought my dog in for vaccine updates and had my first visit with Dr. Chartrand. It was truly the best veterinary experience we could have hoped for. Leo is extremely anxious at the vet, but Dr. Chartrand was patient, calm, and exceptionally skilled in working with him. She took the time to help him feel safe and comfortable, and by the end of the visit he was relaxed enough to take treats, which is remarkable for him. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of care and compassion shown. I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Chartrand without hesitation.

There aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am for the care my puppy and I have received from Dr. Stacy Chartrand and her team. After bringing home my eight-week-old puppy, I became concerned about his gait and possible hip pain. I was relieved to be able to schedule an appointment within the same week. From the moment we met, Dr. Stacy was kind, compassionate, and attentive. She took the time to genuinely listen to all of my concerns and made me feel heard and supported throughout the entire process. When the X-rays revealed a somewhat concerning find, Dr. Stacy went above and beyond in every way. She personally called me on her day off to explain the results, spent over 30 minutes answering my questions, and ensured I fully understood the next steps. Since then, she has continued to follow up and check on my puppy’s progress, demonstrating a level of dedication and genuine care that is truly rare. I am incredibly grateful to have found this clinic and look forward to continuing my puppy’s care here for years to come.

AMAZING VET AND CREW!!!! Hands down the greatest animal hospital I've ever brought a pet to. Everyone on staff is incredibly friendly and holds genuine kindness. My dog's veterinarian was Dr. Mensching, and she was stellar. I have never met such a hands on doctor. She obviously cares deeply for all the animals she helps, and it's clear she wants what is best for the patient and owner. Every technician I met was kind, professional, respectful, and helpful. I never once felt like I was being "sold" on any sort of product, which is an issue I've had at other practices. Everything that was advised and treatment planned was explained fully, documented well, and made sense. If you're looking for somewhere to take your pet, I would highly recommend it be here.

Dr. Chartrand, Dr. Mac, and all the staff at Juanita Hills Animal Hospital have earned my highest recommendation. Over the last 7 years, Drs. Chartrand and Mac have been the primary vets for our 4 dogs and 1 cat at various stages in life. Whether puppy, senior, or end-of-life, they have always given our pets excellent, compassionate care. They always explain the "why" and potential care options and give us the information we need to make informed care decisions. Dr. Chartrand, in particular, has invested significant time to earn the trust of our anxious and shy mastiff/GSD/husky rescue pup who came from a hoarding situation. On multiple visits, she has spent at least 30 minutes building their relationship and helping our girl learn to trust her. All of the staff have been patient and gentle, but Dr. Chartrand has gone truly above and beyond. This isn't a one-off. When we first met Dr. Chartrand, she was at another practice. We were so impressed with the care that she gave our two geriatric dogs in their last years before she moved to Juanita Hills Animal Hospital that, when we adopted a new pup, we decided to find her again so that she could be our pup's primary vet.

The medical team here is absolutely spectacular. Dr. Mensching is an amazing vet - so caring, passionate, and clearly in love with her job. The other doctors and the vet techs are equally wonderful, attentive, and dedicated to providing top-tier care. They deserve every single one of these 5 stars. However, management seriously needs to address the front desk. The receptionist with the two-toned hair is incredibly rude, disrespectful, and dismissive. Her hostile attitude is a complete mismatch with the compassionate, welcoming environment the doctors and techs work so hard to maintain. I am giving 5 stars solely to support the incredible veterinary staff, but the front-of-house customer service is unacceptable and deeply disappointing.

They were able to fit in my sick dog Hank within an hour of calling, which I really appreciated. Everyone was so friendly, and the vet, Stacy Chartrand,was incredibly informative and communicative throughout the entire process. They cared for my dog the whole day and treated him with such compassion. We were so impressed that we’ve decided to switch to them for our regular care!

Moved to WA and needed to establish a new vet doctor for my cat, and these people were awesome! Very welcoming of new pets and took care of all her needs. Definitely staying with this hospital for all my pet's needs.
