We came here just for a dental because our vet was too expensive. We have now transferred our entire care here due to the service and care we received and had our cats eye surgery done here too. The staff here is much friendlier and took their time. Prices are more affordable. They have a care plan too. After over 20 years at another practice, I’ve switched to Dr. Tepley and her team at this location. Zach at the front desk is wonderful. Very helpful. They definitely need more employees though.

This location is the best, we had no great experiences before at same location with other Vets but this time Dr Williams and Karla were GREAT!! last vet even said my baby was very bad and reactive but she had an attitude with him and he felt it, she said he needed a muzzle and he doesn’t I know the kind of dog I have but today I felt so happy because Shadow was very sweet and happy with both of them and Zack at the front desk. THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING MY BABY BOY FEEL VERY HAPPY AND COMFORTABLE

I took my puppy there yesterday and I’m so happy I did. My wife and I have tried 5 different Banfield locations in the DC area— all terrible experiences. Lack of communication, bad mouthing, and unpleasant front desk associates are all things I have encountered at the other locations. So I thought it was worth driving further to find better care for my pup. When I called to make the appointment, Zach picked up and was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The day of my pups appointment, a young lady and Zach were at the front— they greeted my pup and I and I felt very welcomed. I dropped my pup off with them and after about an hour and a half the vet calls and spends 15 minutes on the phone with me explaining everything in great detail. She looked back on my pups records from months ago and thought out loud with me on what we should do. She was incredibly knowledgeable and my experience with Dr. Alexa Tepley felt personal as if she cared for my pup as I do. I feel a huge sense of relief finally finding good quality care for Goose.

We recently moved to the area and needed to update my dog’s vaccines. Since we hadn’t found a long term vet yet, I booked a weekend appointment at Banfield. I’ve never loved this chain because I’ve always had to do drop off appointments, but this was a really pleasant experience. Dr. Tepley and the whole team were so kind. I didn’t catch the names of the man at the front desk or the bet tech who was in our room, but they were all great. They had availability to do the vaccines right away which made a big difference for us. They were super gentle with my 60 lb husky, even carried her into the room when she froze. They also explained a regional vaccine I might want to consider, but there was no pressure to get it. While I’m not sure Banfield will be our forever vet, I’m really glad we came here and will definitely be back in the meantime.

I needed a food med card and some Hills Prescription Diet D/D canned cat food so I stopped by the Banfield Desk. One customer in front of me. Banfield staff person at the computer. No activity, just standing there. Finally the staff member and customer began a conversation that went on and on. I’m not sure what they were waiting on but I finally asked if I should come back. The staff person was dismissive because "I’m with someone right now," after about ten minutes I just left the store, went home, and ordered what I needed online from Chewy.

The vet techs are friendly and the Dr's are kind. They let me stay in the room with my dog, but do remove him to do any shots or tests. They listen to my concerns and answer my questions

After a bad experience thankfully, my sister (the one who recommended this wellness plan) convinced me to go to Kensington and they were absolutely perfect, the receptionist and people at the front did a great job explaining everything to me and were extremely comforting and kind. Kindly let me know he wasn't up-to-date with a certain vaccine. They gave him physical exam, intestinal parasite test in stool, comprehensive exam, phyrantal pamoate, heartworms, lyme, ehrlichia, anaplasma exams, two shots (lyme vaccine and bordetella vaccine), and sent me the tick and fleas montly treatment. Which came out to about ≈$170 for the extra care but monthly plan came out to ≈$70 for Active Care Plus. What I found weird was that greenbelt Banfield didn’t ask for any other vaccination info except for his rabies vaccine apposed to Kensington. Some advice, don't go to greenbelt! Also I payed after they did everything and explained the prices of each service.
