Prairie Side Veterinary Hospital

I take my cat here. He has a lot of health issues/concerns, but he is an elderly cat and that's to be expected at his age. The Dr and front of house staff are all wonderful, friendly, kind and extremely sweet and understanding. My cat has had to see 2 specialists this year, but this vet office was the first one to be able to offer me options for him. I want to help my cat the best I can, but there has to be a ceiling to the spending I can do. This vet office understands this and they gave me hope for my sweet little fur baby I had lost over the years from vets that couldn't help him. He started playing again! He greets me when I get home again! He asks for up ups and wants to be around others again. I had given up hope of ever having those moments with him again. I will always be eternally grateful for everything this office has done to help my sweet fur baby Golden Grahams!!! 🥹💖

I have a rescue that I received very young and is now 6.5 years old 90 lbs and had his puppy years through covid and followed by a traumatized leg surgery and isn't that socialized dog at his age and is very hard to get care for. I have been taking him to Prairie side Racine since he was adopted but was told they can no longer accommodate my animals on Saturday's or Monday's and suggest I try Kenosha. This is a very hard event on everyone evolved and I have to say they did a amazing job helping me get through this years check up and checked him out better than he's been checked out in a long time. I can not thank this Kenosha team enough.

Very clean, very friendly staff and they love my cat just as much as I do. They are very attentive to his needs and his health. I've been coming here for several years now and I can see using them for many more years to come. Thank you for being such an awesome veterinarian.

I've been going to Prairie Side for several years. The veterinarians are great, the techs are amazing and the front desk staff is so friendly. I've gone for regular check ups, emergency situations and even for goodbyes. Through all those the staff have been great with myself and my pets. Theyve gone above and beyond from time to time as well. They are reasonably priced and they ALWAYS find a way to get me in asap. I really appreciate them for being a safety net for my worries and a wealth of information when it comes to my pets health. I've had pets my whole life and have been to several other vets in town, there's a reason I've stayed with Prairie Side as long as I have!

My first experience with Prairie Side was a very sad but necessary visit with my Parent's dog a few years ago. The staff and Dr. were so kind and compassionate, though our dog had not been a patient. So when my cat needed some immediate care and I couldn't get into see her vet, I again turned to Prairie Side and have stuck with them. They've been very accommodating to my schedule. The staff is friendly and easygoing at all their locations. And while the facilities are clean, professional, and pleasant, I don't get the feeling that I'm visiting a pet spa with all the bells and whistles and high over-head, which is a great thing for me, as I am simply there for basic medical needs for my pets.

I’ve had a past experience with a pet being hurt so I was extremely terrified to go to the vet. I was unbelievably anxious for myself and pet but as soon as I walked in it was very quiet and calm. The staff were all extremely sweet, professional, and accommodating. They explained everything in detail to me and made my entire experience just perfect. I will never go anywhere else, thank you to all the staff who helped me :))

We've been going to Dr. Huggins for four years now for our cat, she is an amazing veterinarian! She and the whole Prairie Side staff are always really thorough, kind and have helped our cat through a bunch of issues she's had! I would definitely recommend them, they are great!
