Allied Animal ER

📍 Cat veterinarians in Jonesboro

5.2

Address provides emergency veterinary care with a focus on accessibility and rapid response, particularly for urgent feline issues. Their team emphasizes clear communication regarding diagnostics, such as X-rays, and ensures pet owners understand treatment plans and associated costs before proceeding. The facility operates with a structured intake process, including pre-arrival coordination, which can streamline the experience for concerned pet owners.

However, the quality of care and professionalism may vary depending on individual circumstances. Some patients report discrepancies in follow-up documentation or inconsistent handling of logistical challenges, such as scheduling conflicts. While their attentiveness to immediate medical needs is notable, transparency in post-treatment records and adaptability to owner constraints remain areas for potential improvement.

I sat on this review for about six months because I wasn’t sure. I actually wanted to post it. But here —my cat had a blockage and we needed to leave him overnight due to severity and boy cats do be getting blockages unfortunately. I informed the tech that I had court the next day and was unable to miss — they’re entire demeanor and tone changed with us— automatically labeled me as a felon and we received some of the worst treatment of our lives in this facility —thank God I was able to get the attorneys on the line and tell him I would not be able be in court to assist with the paperwork that day and somehow we made it work without getting in trouble. I flew at 6:30 in the morning to get my cat and deliver him to our family vet where his condition improved within three hours, literally wild that this is an emergency facility that really doesn’t do anything other than charging money. Still to this day, I cannot find any type of diagnosis in the chart I requested from this facility

We went on a Sunday morning because my chihuahua wasn’t being himself! They greeted us as soon as we entered and got me the paperwork to check him in . I had called ahead and gave them a heads up we were coming and the issues we were having.. once we arrived and I filled out the paperwork the nurse was quick to attend to us and get all the information. They did all the test and x rays and made sure I understood the cost and treatment before doing anything without my consent. Very professional friendly staff! They called me later on this evening to confirm medication and x rays along with anything else. My dog is feeling better and we really appreciate the care!

Look, I feel bad about this because everyone was nice, but that was the only positive thing about this experience. Brought my dog in for bloody sneezes, they were the only place open on a Sunday. Since there was only one doctor on hand, we were there for three hours. Said doctor barely asked us any questions, and upon initial examination discovered another issue (which is fine, I like being thorough!), BUT then she focused on that one issue instead of what I ACTUALLY CAME IN FOR. The ONLY thing she did about the nose bleed issue was do blood tests. Including COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT BLOOD TESTS, such as for rat poisoning. RAT POISONING? I would think that if my dog had eaten rat poison, I'd be seeing other signs instead of just a bloody nose!!!! It honestly felt like they were just running tests to be able to charge more. I understand being careful, but that felt excessive, especially since nobody even asked, "Do you even have rat poison in your house?" (I do not). The entire rest of the appointment was focused on the other issue the doctor found--a heart murmur and an enlarged heart--and giving us medicine. But lo and behold! I take my dog to a veterinary cardiologist today and what do they say?! His heart murmur is detectable but not cause for concern, and HIS HEART IS NOT ENLARGED!!! AWESOME. GREAT. IM SO GLAD I PAID $900 FOR THIS SERVICE. This was honestly so disappointing.

My name is Stacey Lynn. Unfortunately I had to visit Allied Animal ER on a Sunday. The employees were very concerned about my situation and did get us a room much faster than a ER for a person. If I was looking for a job I would definitely choose a caring animal clinic as this. They told me I didn’t have to sit but I sat and waited for 4 hours, she was in critical care and didn’t make it but she did have 7 great loving years. The employees made a box with her name, a piece of her hair, paw prints, and a place for her picture. I will forever love my crack cat that chose me not the other way around. Her name was Meow Meow. RIP

Amazing... they close at 11pm. i called at 10:57pm. Knowing they close in just minutes, she answered the phone, answered all my questions and took the time to give me directions to the closest 24 hour vet emergency clinic. She was absolutely on her game, with unbelievable with her customer service. Thank you sweet lady, I appreciate you.

From the moment we walked in till we picked up my fur baby the Dr and Nurses were exceptionally professional and caring . I recommend them to everyone . I called two other well known pet hospitals and none of them were open or Dr was out . I was very worried and they totally eased my mind . Thank you guys for caring for my Bently boy
