Excellent Animal Hospital! They took great care of my dog, while I was hospitalized. They provided good medical care. They removed bandages he had (from a prior procedure) and gave him a new cone, to wear for a week. He healed beautifully. They provided me daily updates and pictures of my dog. My dog appeared to be having a good time and enjoying the staff's company. It was relief to know he was being well taken care of, while I was recuperating. I'm so thankful to the staff for providing such wonderful care to my fur baby.

A heartfelt thank you to the doctor and the primary care desk for making my 4-year-old Highlander cat YaYa’s passing so peaceful. The doctor’s compassion brought us so much comfort during an incredibly difficult time. I will forever treasure the photo the doctor took of YaYa snuggling under my arm. My dog Coraline was treated with so much kindness and understanding for everything she has endured. Staff was gentle and patient with me when asking about her health and incident. I am truly happy we visited for Coraline's follow up care. What I appreciated most about Angell is kindness and professionalism.

Every person I communicated with was so kind and helpful. Though I was told I might need to wait up to 3 hours, it was a much briefer wait than that. The Vet who eventually treated my cat Mingus was very clear and encouraging. Overall it was great experience and Ming is feeling much better (less than a week later). What I appreciated most about Angell is caring and talented staff.

I drove 4 hrs to Angell when my local ER vet in Vermont was unable to accommodate my pets needed oral surgery. Dr Riehl was amazing in repairing Manny's jaw and communicating with me. I loved the entire experience with Angell. The staff were empathetic and responded to my desperate need for my pets prompt oral surgery. I even got a credit back at discharge which was a huge relief with the total cost coming in lower than the low estimate. Unreal.

I arrived from Bermuda with my dog and a ruptured disk, ER were expecting us and had all my dogs details from our vet, the wait was a bit unexpected in ER as he was in pretty bad shape, but once seen the process was speedy, professional, flawless great communication and I felt at ease that he was having the best care possible. What I appreciated most about Angell is the communication and feeling of nothing was too much to ask

Update on 5/30/26 I truly feel that my cat Zara is in the best possible hands. Throughout this difficult journey, we have always been guided clearly through the next steps, which has been incredibly important and reassuring. I am very grateful to all of the doctors and staff we have met, especially Dr. Pavletic and Dr. Adrianowycz, for their professionalism, expertise, and compassionate care. A special thank you as well to the service desk staff for always being kind, friendly, and welcoming - it really does make a difference during stressful times. The hospital has outstanding specialists, including oncologists, surgeons, and anesthesiologists, as well as excellent equipment and resources. Most importantly, I feel that Zara is receiving the very best care that is available today. For that, I am deeply grateful. December 2025: My cat had cancer surgery at MSPCA Angell about a week ago, performed by the wonderful Dr. Pavletic and his anesthesiology team. I am deeply impressed by the level of medical expertise, professionalism, and genuine care shown by everyone involved. Before finding Angell, I contacted several hospitals in the area specifically looking for a facility with anesthesiologists. Most told me the wait for an initial consultation alone would be 6–8 weeks, with no clear timeline for surgery. Tufts hospital in Walpole spoke very insensitively and even literally laughed to my face at my concerns, wishing me "good luck" before hanging the phone. VCA in Weymouth was unclear and disorganized about the steps needed just to be seen, making it impossible to proceed. In contrast, MSPCA Angell was professional, respectful, and compassionate from the very first phone call. From the operator to the nurses, front desk staff, anesthesiologists, and of course the doctor, every interaction was handled with clarity, efficiency, and humanity. They saw my cat within a week, and the surgery was performed just two days later. The procedure went very well, I received clear postoperative instructions, and dissolving stitches were used. One week later, the histology results arrived promptly, and the next steps were clearly explained. An oncology appointment was scheduled for three weeks later without any confusion or delay. Dr. Pavletic personally called me right after the surgery to explain how everything went, and then again a week later when the histology results arrived. He explained everything clearly, gave thoughtful guidance about next steps, and spoke about my kitty with such warmth. He also expressed sincere empathy for what we are going through, which meant more to me than I can say. During the surgery, I received real-time text message updates — when the surgery started, when it finished, how it went, and how my cat was doing. I was also able to ask questions via text, and they were answered promptly by real people, not automated messages. This level of communication brought enormous peace of mind during a very stressful time. Everything is exceptionally well organized, and communication was both professional and kind at every step. The waiting area is spacious and thoughtfully designed, with separate sections for cats and dogs, which I greatly appreciated. I truly believe Dr. Pavletic is among the best doctors/surgeons in the state — if not the country — and I am profoundly grateful to the entire MSPCA Angell team for their outstanding care during a very stressful time.
