Riverside Animal Hospital

I am so happy I found this Hospital. I had a very sick Dumpy tree frog and Dr. Rossi was kind, informative and understanding of even my budget walking into this appointment. I felt as if he had an answer for everything I asked and was personal to my need and my sweet dumpy. Highly recommend.

(I haven’t attended my appointment yet this is ONLY in regards to scheduling). The front desk so far is genuinely SO sweet. I don’t remember her name but she sounded really friendly and excited to see my bearded dragon.

No respect for peoples time! I called to make an appointment for my pets, I was very pleased they were able to see us the next day. That’s where the positive ends. I drove 35 mins and arrived at my appointment 15 mins early out of respect for their time, unfortunately they don’t have same curtesy. When I arrived I was told they would be cleaning up a room and would have us in soon. My appointment time came and went. I sat in the most uncomfortable, sketchy, and wobbly park bench looking seat that had several screws sticking out for over an hour without any updates or acknowledgment that we were even there. After waiting close to an hour and a half I decided to leave without my pets being seen. It was my first time going to this animal hospital and it will be the last time. I do not want to give my money or business to a place that has no regard for peoples time. UPDATE: On 6/4/26 they reach out to me and left a message apologizing for the long wait. Additionally, they offered discounts in the event I wanted to bring back my pets. I appreciate their efforts to make things right. However, I will not be returning.

Dr. Rossi is the best vet in North Florida. I don't trust anyone else to treat my babies!

Dr Rossi is the best exotic animal veterinarian I have ever known He saved our 3 year old bearded dragon from death . The office staff was also amazing.I highly recommend this Veterinarian they care!!!The cost wasn't bad either.Sony is feeling great now.

Dr.Rossi and ALL the staff..are sent from Heaven, ya’ll! They literally care for your pets like you would a family member. Very fair pricing and easy to obtain appointment online.. They have been treating and caring for my animals since I can remember. Dr.John is one special guy And we appreciate him to the fullest!

We had a community cat experience a medical emergency after giving birth. Showed up at 5:40 on 1/30 with her stillborn kitten hanging out of her. This wasn’t considered an emergency and we were told "we close at six". After saying we were taking her to ACPS the receptionist started asking us to fill out some paperwork, like we weren’t just told they aren’t going to help. ACPS was still open and saw her immediately. I get that we’re all human, probably a long day in the office…but it’s an animal’s life and wellbeing. I would have hoped veterinarian staff would show the same compassion in the last hour they do the rest of the day.
