I’ve had a great experience with Miramar Animal Hospital and Dr. Hart. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, and the facility is always clean and well maintained. They are very transparent about pricing and always explain costs before any treatment, which I really appreciate. When my dog Gunther developed a lipoma around the tendons in his ankle, they carefully assessed the situation and even referred me to a specialist surgeon when needed, showing they truly put the animal’s best interest first. Because I sometimes have trouble keeping track of medications, they offered long-lasting injections for heart-worm and flea prevention that cover an entire year, which has been extremely helpful. They also keep Gunther up to date on all vaccinations without any hassle. Dr. Hart is excellent—always patient, knowledgeable, and responsive, even answering my questions by email. I highly recommend this clinic.

I have had several great visits here over the last year, including today. Dr. Stacey has been wonderful with my 20.5 year old cat and the vet techs have all been wonderful too. Dr. Hart saw another one of my guys during an urgent day-of visit about 8 months back, and he was fantastic too. As a longterm foster and dog/cat mom, I’ve been to so many vets. While there are many great doctors in Jax, Miramar has been my favorite and most consistent with care thus far. Highly recommend.

This veterinary hospital and its team helped give us more precious time with our cat, Tiki. The veterinarians and staff truly listened to us as owners, guided us with compassion, and provided the best advice—including recommending a specialist when needed. It’s clear that this hospital genuinely cares about every animal that comes through their doors. If they can’t provide a specific treatment in-house, they will help you find the right care to give your pet the best possible chance. We have been very fortunate to have the professionalism and empathy of the entire staff at Miramar Animal Hospital for many years. On numerous occasions they have put us at ease when difficult decisions had to be made. They have always put us first and answered any questions we have had. We have always had a full understanding of our pets’ situation. When questioned, they provide clear, understandable answers. Miramar Animal Hospital has been chosen as the "Best in Jacksonville" for good reason. Animals have pedigrees, Miramar Animal Hospital also has a great pedigree.

Dr.Ferrin is absolutely fantastic! She always goes above and beyond for my little Jonte…even though he can be a handful😘She is passionate and cares for the animals at such an extraordinary level. She is a first class vet all the way! The office staff is always friendly and supportive. Will not go anywhere else!

Samantha was so kind to my baby Jackson. She knew I was nervous about his teeth cleaning and kept me updated as the morning progressed. Dr Stacy was very kind as well and took the time to talk to me before I left and after the procedure. Little did I know my dog had a very loose tooth. I had no idea! It was probably bothering him but I did not know. His teeth are sparkly and he seems like he is more energetic. Thank you for exceptional care. O

We are so deeply greatly for Miramar Animal Hospital’s doctors and staff. All are kind, professional, and caring. Last week my soul cat of 18 years, Kister, needed to be put to sleep. Dr. Ferrin is so kind and went above and beyond for us. We were able to give him a good death, in the comfort of our home. Although I wish Kister was still with us, this was the best possible outcome of a heartbreaking situation, filled with love and peacefulness. Thank you.❤️‍🩹
