I took my kitten here to be spayed, after spaying her they told me they need to keep her overnight to watch her. When I picked her up they told me she didn’t need a cone or antibiotics or sedatives or anything. I trusted their professional opinion and my kitten ended up ripping her incision open not even a couple days later. I took her back where I was told they would be keeping her for the weekend to keep an eye on her again. When I picked her up on Monday, I was once again told she didn’t need a cone, antibiotics, sedation, etc. but I was welcome to buy only a cone. Which I bought my own cone later. At home, I noticed She was stapled together poorly (in photo) and her wound looked infected. After seeing more puss than I was comfortable with and once again the wound begin to open despite being coned. I sent the photo to another professional who told me they shouldn’t have stapled her as cats don’t do well with staples, and she need to be seen again ASAP. Somewhere between that conversation and getting ready to bring her in to be seen, her wound fully came open and I had to rush her to an ER clinic, who told me that everything up to the pain medication they gave me was very very wrong, and they had to pretty much redo the whole procedure so she could heal properly. I’m not sure what went wrong but it’s safe to say none of my animals are coming here ever again.
Me and my chinchilla came here to get a second opinion & I absolutely love the vet and her staff they are so compassionate, understanding, and honest! Truly the best! I had given up hope that my chinchilla would get better, but they gave me hope. I hope my chinchilla continues to improve but if we ever have problems again this is forsure our new vet!
Thank you so much to Dr. Jones and the entire team at mandarin vet clinic for all of your help in taking care of my hamster Benni. Benni was ~2yrs and 3mo old, which is quite old for a little roborovski hamster- Dr. Jones did everything she could to give Benni a fighting chance, coming up with tiny medicines for my tiny guy. Everyone was very gentle with him and patient. Even though he was very small, they all cared for him just the same as any animal in need. I miss my Benni dearly now, but he was in wonderful hands with Dr. Jones and I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you all again so very much- it means everything to have a team that cares. I thought I would share some pics of Benni from before he was sick so you can see his little angry face and roundness 😅💙
I am happy to say I have found my forever vet! Dr. Jones is a walking angel and has the biggest heart for every animal she sees. My Penny has congestive heart failure & she was given a few months to live from the first vet I took her to. Then I took her to Dr. Jones, she adjusted her meds and it’s been over a year since then! I am so thankful for Dr. Jones & her entire team for all they do to make sure Penny is feeling as good as she possibly can with this horrible disease. Thank you for all you do, I am so grateful!
They were really patient and knowledgeable and gentle with my dog, they have separate entrances for dogs vs cats which makes the animals a lot more comfortable, and all of the staff are just so great. It was my first visit, and another client in the waiting room told me she's been coming for 30 years to them and about how wonderful they've been with her pets. They have good business hours that ensure that they're both available for the pets and to give the staff plenty of rest time (I'm a very big believer that happy workers make the rest of the business better) and just overall a really great visit. I'm happy to call this vet clinic the new source of all my visits so that I can keep my dog happy and healthy.
Absolutely wonderful and friendly staff. Dr. Taylor was professional, genuine, and very caring for my Yorkie. It is very obvious that she and her staff care about animals and are there to render the best care they can! This will be my dog's doctor from this point forward.
Can't say enough about how much we love Dr. Jones and her entire staff. We've been with them for 8 years and continue to go after moving 40 min away. Can't imagine letting anyone else care for it pups.
